I really don't think Stoke thought we'd play like this with our wingers cutting in instead of using the tiny width of the pitch. We're playing well, need a goal however.
We're fucked now.
Should have had a penalty there. FUCK OFF.
BBC...Liverpool goal: Stoke in front at the Britannia
I do enjoy when the camera show a wide shot, the crude effort to conceal the extent of how Stoke havealtered the dimensions of the pitch.Agger looking very forceful down the left hand side, and Coates looks comfortable and reads the ball well. There is plenty of work rate and tracking back from the midfield, which is helping us turn over possession.Overall, our passing and attacking play has been very good, just need the breakthroughAll of the 'front six' have had a good first half.
in other news...chelsea miss a pen against the bittersandCity are destroying wolves 3-1 in a matter of the last 10 min,
Fundamental mistake there. Never, ever let the ball bounce unless you're 100% sure you can get it.
Despite the goal (and the fact we will almost certainly lose this match now) I don't think that was a bad half by Liverpool. Carroll has shown well, the midfield have been tight and the back 4 (until the fuck up) were doing OK. Coates certainly has ability (though looks unsure of the premiership, obviously) and Agger has excelled at LB. The goal, a hideous blunder and fluke all combined, is typical Stoke who offer fuck all in reality.
