20 Norwich pass it around superbly, must have been 25 passes. Culminates in a cross from right, Johnson defends well and heads for a corner

20 minutes in, here are the team stats.
LIV                                   NOR
8(1)  Shots (on Goal)       2(2)
0       Fouls                   1
2       Corner Kicks           1
1       Offsides                  0
63%  Possession             37%

We really need to be more clinical. 1 shot of 8 on target is pretty poor at any level.

Pepe with a fantastic save and then the quick offense that leads to nothing.

His distribution from the back is 2nd to none.

Been almost all Norwich in the last 5-10 minutes. WeŽre giving the ball away and putting pressure on ourselves. Need to settle this down again and pin them back into their half.

Norwich are catching us again and again with that high line. Forwards really should be looking across the line. The number of times the move has broken down to a needless offside is worrying.

Suarez with one of the cleverest disguised passes I've ever seen just now. Back to goal 20 yards out he receives it into feet and flicks it with the outside of his right foot between 2 defenders over to the left side of the box to a running Bellamy. If Bellamy had gotten on the end of that it would have been delicious!

40 A good flowing move start with Gerrard to Carra who runs into the opponents half , lays the ball off to Kuyt to Suarez who spreads it wide for Downing , with a good cross back to Suarez in the box, his header is weak and straight at the keeper , really should have done better there

I have no problem at all with Downing playing predominantly on the right. But it seems Bellamy and Dirk are taking turns on the left, and I'd rather Dirk stuck up front to be honest and left Craig to it. Did well there but was let down by having to use his right peg.

42 Bellamy gets the ball on the edge of the box and shapes to shoot, his shot is high wide and practically a throw in.
