Lads this may be a stupid question but here goes.

I can get tickets for City at home on 31st of December. Just wondering is that fixture locked in or could it be subject to change?

We're down to play the 26th and the 2nd so I presume these won't change?

Would appreciate some help, want to book travel early.

Could be subject to change. 26th could also change.

Last year they had all 10 games on the 26th because there were games on the 28th as well. There's no games on the 28th this year is there? So I suspect they'll move a few around to different days for maximum TV Audience viewing ::)

I wouldn't book anything until the TV Games are finalised early October

Cheers mate thanks for that. Travel will cost a fortune by then so.

Had a suspicion anyway,  can't imagine we will be playing at 3pm on NYE.

I reckon the City home game will be on either the 29th or 30th of December judging by the form of previous seasons. That round has only been played on them two dates for last 5 or 6 seasons (possibly more I didn't check).

Anyone know a specific date when the next round of TV fixtures will be Announced?

EDIT: Maybe the next set of TV fixtures might not cover the December games, I heard off someone they would be out in October for them games.

Anyone any thoughts on Chelsea at home Wednesday 1st Feb, I notice 7 other fixtures are down for Tuesday the 31st, with just ourselves, Manc U and Stoke v Everton on the Wed. It'll surely be a TV pick, think it'll stay on the Wednesday? FA Cup 4th round is on the last weekend in January, the weekend before the Chelsea game.

Why did they set it as a Wednesday and will it stay?

Sky are announcing it's panel on Monday so I reckon October's fixtures will be announced then.

The TV games for January were announced in mid November last season. You won't know for at least 3 months.

I'm aware of that mate, but wondering why it (our home game v Chelsea in February) has been set for the Wednesday. Also wondering if anyone has ever seen these midweek games being brought forward a day, as I can recall Tuesday games becoming Wednesday but not the other way around.

The fixtures are provisional due to TV, FA Cup etc. I've known fixtures be put back but never forward but that was before Premier League games were on a Friday night & Chelsea do play Arsenal the following weekend.

FA Cup 4th round is the previous weekend (end of Jan). Decent spot re Chelsea v Arsenal on the 4th, but doubt that will a Friday night game due to policing concerns? Two London clubs, I hear it is hard enough to get out to the Emirates on the tube at the best of times. Friday evening would surely be chaos.

And there's unlikely to be a Friday night game in a week of Tues/Wed league fixtures. Football authorities are stupid but not that stupid.

Quote from: Harvest Fields
i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

:o

Swansea away moved to Saturday lunchtime again, so helpful.  ::)

They've picked some odd games for us, Watford, Swansea, West Brom, riveting stuff!

I can't believe merseyside police have agreed to a Monday night for united at Anfield. The last Monday night game I remember between us was at Old Trafford 2004/05, that big-headed c*nt Silvestre scored twice.
