Strange signing, he seems shit now. A lot of their fans seem unhappy unsurprisingly.
Yeah, he seems shit in a team that will likely finish bottom and now he's going to a Championship team.  Hmm.  Maybe the chairman of the Blades said he'd sign him knowing what he's capable of when performing well.

How did Leeds manage to fuck this up? They were 4th and looked like a certain for the play off's just fee weeks ago. Great run from Fulham if they can make it.

I share their pain.

They must be absolutely desperate to avoid Fulham. They have received 2 severe kickings from them this season, the aggregate score is Fulham 9 Huddersfield 1.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Bristol City - 5.30pm ko tonight on Sky Sports 1.

some streams here - https://soccerstreams.net/streams/6239/brighton-hove-albion-995_vs_bristol-city-990

If Brighton win they win the league - and fair play to Chis Hughton if that happens - seems a good bloke and decent manager. If not then it opens a door for Newcastle to win it going into the final game of the season for both...

http://www.flashscores.co.uk/football/england/championship/

Villa will be an interesting one - if they lose to Blackburn today they'll be likely putting their local rivals Birmingham in the relegation spots - should be interesting to see how their fans and players approach this one... (if Blues don't beat 3rd place Huddersfield)

Blackburn vs Villa streams - https://soccerstreams.net/streams/6238/blackburn-rovers-993_vs_aston-villa-994

Amazing how badly Leeds have collapsed recently, they looked nailed on for a play off place. 1-0 down at home to Norwich today.

Birmingham 1-0 vs Huddersfield - despite Blues being down to 10 men and missing a penalty...

Blackburn 0-0 Villa...

Good. Now for Reading to choke in the play offs. Any one of the other three would be fine.

It is pretty crazy that Reading and Huddersfield are 3th and 4th with a GD of +2, while Sheff Weds and Fulham are currently only 5th and 6th in the live table with a GD of +15 and +27!

3-3 FT now, Leeds won't be getting into the play-offs. They've bottled it epically. Shame as I would have liked to see them up.

Fulham finishes 1-1, Leeds finishes 3-3, effectively all over for the playoffs, the last match Leeds need to win big, & Fulham need to lose big for Leeds to get the last playoff spot.

^ Brighton 0 - 1 Bristol City, full time... :)

Newcastle are at home vs Barnsley in their last game of the season...

Brighton are away vs Aston Villa in their last game...

If Brighton win then Brighton will be Champions, though if Newcastle better Brighton's result - then Newcastle will be Champions....

At the other end of the Championship one of Birmingham, Forest or Blackburn will be joining Wigan & Rotherham in League One next season...

Bristol City vs Birmingham
Forest vs Ipswich
Brentford vs Blackburn

Put money on them winning the league at the start of the season, will be gutted if they blow it now. Had Huddersfield to go up too, and they look in poor form going into the playoffs

Absolute madness mate - a young talented coach had them playing decent footy on a shoestring budget - at a club just emerging from turmoil behind the scenes, and stagnation on it, for the past few years - and the new owners go sack him for being 7th...

to be replaced by Zola* (who hadn't done a great job in many of his previous management positions, bar Watford 4 years ago).

* I loved watching Zola as a player - and is a decent bloke off the pitch too by all accounts.

On a related note, Sheffield Utd won the promotion and wilk be back in Championship next year.

I saw a thing earlier that said that, a month ago when they looked nailed on for the playoffs, they'd done a 50% discount promo on season tickets if they failed to make it.

With Burton ground only a few miles from where I live this is awesome news.  Clough candidate for manager of the season for me with what he has had to work with it's a phenomenal achievement.

Fulham are the ones to watch out for in the playoffs, on good form although they drew 1-1 today.

Ye they have been getting better and better.

Playoffs are:

Reading
Huddersfield
Sheff Weds
Fulham

Any favourites from that lot?
