Oh, I thought they were doing one a week, cheers.

All 4 are on Iplayer now.

No need to spoilers to say I fucking loved it. They really do have great chemistry together. Shame it was only 4 episodes

The bike scene was absolutely brilliant and then the you tube scenes really did make me chortle. I'm watching one a week so I have something to look forward to

It's alright, jokes can be a bit hit & miss and the lass is a bit grating at times but it's very watchable.

I think it's pretty good and reminds me of the sort of Detectorists humour, it is nostalgic and the music really emphasises this, bet Rufus Hound is sharpening his jealousy knife, "Yeah Peter Kayes funny - he remembers things".

Really great show, only recently watched the first series after missing it first time around. Good chemistry between the two.

watched episode 2 with Elsie the blue Irishwoman  ;D ...very, very funny indeed....loved the way they made no concessions with the accent, which was barely legible at times due to her drunken state, but that made it all the more funny.......some nice moments between the two leads too to counterpoint the vulgarity of Elsie  ;D.....really is a treat this show

It was indeed Varys! I actually thought it was Kay himself and they'd done a bit of camera trickery. It was the same accent he uses in his stand-up when he's doing an impression of his mum ("...not even Irish...")

Yeah I agree, I think the Seat Belt was just about on the cusp of reality, the end pushed it over,

Great episode though and another great-albeit short- series

Yeah big shame. Says he's sitting on about 15 years worth of Phoenix nights material he wants to do. Just a shame that Neil Fitzmaurice and Dave Spikey hate his guts for not giving them enough credit for the writing.

Think the last quote I heard from Neil Fitzmaurice was that he'd see Kay in court before he'd do Ray Von again

I was reading about it the other day coincidentally and I'm sure I read things from both where they basically said it was up to Peter Kay and they were both keen

Probably not surprising given the wedge it'd potentially bring in for them! That tends to override any bad feelings
