All the pie signs when they get into Wigan are great.
Oh, I thought they were doing one a week, cheers.
Just under 2 minutes into Episode 2.
watched episode 2 with Elsie the blue Irishwoman ...very, very funny indeed....loved the way they made no concessions with the accent, which was barely legible at times due to her drunken state, but that made it all the more funny.......some nice moments between the two leads too to counterpoint the vulgarity of Elsie .....really is a treat this show
Crosby Nick never fails.
Pretty sure that was the eunuch from Game of Thrones!
That 3rd episode, I was crying with laughter. Desperate to let my kids watch it but the language was a bit choice!
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.
SpoilerThe monkey middle finger was a bit silly at the end but loved all the pies stuff when they got to Wigan. 'CASH 4 PIES' The work they've put into it is something else.[close]
Its all about winning shiny things.
Yeah big shame. Says he's sitting on about 15 years worth of Phoenix nights material he wants to do. Just a shame that Neil Fitzmaurice and Dave Spikey hate his guts for not giving them enough credit for the writing.Think the last quote I heard from Neil Fitzmaurice was that he'd see Kay in court before he'd do Ray Von again
I was convinced there would be a Christmas special to tie the story up, seems daft to finish the series like that.
Just re watching the 1st series again. So good and so funny. Great chemistry between Kay and Sian
Returning for a 1 off unscripted special in time for Christmas and 1 final episode to finish off the 'cliffhanger'
