Postal not logged so rang up. Lady said she only had £55 ones left, asked her to check with other operators and after a few huffs and puffs, got 3 at £46.50

She also checked about 3/4 times that it was the fancard holders who were travelling and asked when I was leaving and coming back. Not had that before on the phones.

Just this cloud of ash to sort now

I just posted on the other thread about this... As you know I cant make Madrid because I had to go to Malta for very important business and a meeting. The flight is nearly 100% going to be cancelled. So driving is an option, but that is one massive trek! So thought Madrid would be back on the agenda, but that may be looking doubtful... Even if the plane gets you there, there is no guarantee it will bring you back! Nightmare this is.

You could be right although they could take a boat from Rhyl to Ireland and fly off from there. But being serious they are going to have to make a decision before Wednesday me thinks

Looks very much like it as the volcano is still spewing away and if it were to stop it's going to take ages for things to get back to normal.

With the home leg being only the week after how would things be re-arranged? Would be tricky. A mad rush to re-book flights for everyone still intending to travel also.....

Its not looking good for Thursday. if the ash cloud doesnt go im hopeing it moves over spain aswell so we can get a refund on our internal flights.

even if planes are flying the delays could cause havoc with connecting fights to madrid.

hotel has been prepaid so no change of a refund unless visa help out. (normally book using bookings.com but have used Alpharooms this time to get hotel we normally stay in when visiting madrid if we cancel we'll have to pay both nights.

trip has cost £185 and if things stay the same will only get a refund of about £60 for Birmingham to Girona flights. (at least that will cover the perfume the misses wants as a sweetner.and she'll want it even if the trip is cancelled.)

its all gloom and doom at the moment and for me sums up our season. roll on 2010/11 season and new owners.

Yes there is... But The Ticket Office must blow this out now... They must understand the havoc this is causing to the supporters. I have a mate stuck in India who was supposed to go to Madrid, and he has all the tickets also back home in England! This is going to be an absolute mess for the fans if the team can get to Madrid.

Cheers mate. I can take a train from here in Munich to Madrid but I need me tkts. Just heard on the news here that there's a second cloud over Finland now that's apparently bigger. Is this true?
