Sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask this but does anyone have any tips on how to fireproof a homemade flag and how to get a Fire Safety Certificate?

I think the old 'fire certificate' thing is a bit of an excuse by certain clubs to not let flags in for other reasons, ( slating the S*n etc ), as far as i am aware none of the flags that are used at Anfield have certificates except the big surfers as thay cover hundreds of people as they go over, i know none of the flags that our lot wave don't have any.

Go to the Royal Oak on Sunday only to find the fucker was shut. Something to do with the licence apparently.

Ended up in the fan park thing next to the ground and it was actually pretty OK as far as fan parks go.  They had a live band on doing Ska and Reggea stuff.  Did tracks from The Specials, Madness, early UB40 etc.  Quite good.

Ended up in the Vine after the game.

Good day out but as said above, helps when we win :)

Gutted about the Royal Oak. Hope its back open for next season.

Thought the atmosphere was pretty good last night. Before ko when we looked around, we didn't have high hopes (17 credits?? Yeah right!) but most were loud round us and didn't hear any moaners! :D

I think we were just too nervous to go full voice.  Soon as we scored I just wanted full time.

Watford fans were surprisingly very quiet.  Ironically they had a banner up in the home end pre-kickoff that said "Silence is not an option".

I think most of their fans didn't bother to read it. :)

Emre Can chant just after the goal was loud but like you say Pete everyone was a bit nervous. Think a second goal would have had a positive effect on the atmosphere. Another ground ticked off though and a great winning goal.

Couldn't get a ticket for this one,  our support sounded patchy on the box which is probably down to nerves.   Watford fans were silent.   What a ridiculous piece of segregation though,  must have been a good 15 seats wide,  absolutely no need for this, we could easily have had another 300 tickets.

Looked to be a bit of a motley crew there last night. TV pictures appeared to show about 60% of them being grown men wearing replica team shirts. Usually a sign that they aren't Scouse.

Though there were a few familiar flags...Kirkby, Halewood etc. Be interesting to hear from anyone who was there.

Not surprising that there wasn't a full turnout yesterday. Difficult venue to get to & not exciting local area (though Heidelberg is nice & historic). Thought we made a reasonable amount of noise considering Hoffenheim support is partly of the drum variety. Hate drums at the match - should be banned.

Fantastic 'Bob-by Firmino' when he went off.

Tell you what, it's eerily quiet in Marketplatz, Heidelberg this morning - maybe the brasshouses were hit hard last night? 😎

What bellends travelling all that way to support their team but thankfully there are tw@ts on internet only happy to slag them off.

Did it sell out? Makes no sense that people would have bought tickets and not turned up as this game didn't count for later rounds. Also seemed to be a good few of our lot dotted all over the ground.

Not slagging them off just saying what I saw. I know lads from Liverpool went just thought they were not in the majority that's all. And I'm an ex traveller myself been everywhere some years back.

Def seemed to be quite a few German reds near us, but we saw a lot of familiar faces too, often Scouse. Maybe they just didn't feel the need to get to the bits near the cameras? :D Where full kit wankers did??

Although the upper sections were half empty, those who were there were in good voice. Great rendition of scouser tommy with all around us singing. Didn't get the feel that tickets had been sold on to locals.

Who said that ? I said they 'usually' don't if you read it properly. We're talking adults here not kids.

I personally don't know any who do and almost all those I see wearing footy shirts are out of towners. That's what I'm saying. Just my observation.

think some would have stood with their mates rather than stay at the top. A few of our mates did that, as loads of space due to safe standing.

What's the tune to this? Going to get this blasting out on the coaches down to Wembley.
