Anfield can't host a major european final due to it being shit.

Quite simple really.

The Olympic Stadium was fantastic with its lack of turnstiles and the Ataturk was in the middle of nowhere and I couldn't even get a soft drink at half time as everything was closed.

But presumably their pitch is long or something.

It definitely would. You can see just about the crossbar from the back of the Kop so if you extended the pitch you'd see even less.

It would cost millions just so we can host one game every 20-30 years. Not worth it whatsoever.

Not sure it's worth the expense given it doesn't really gain us anything.

They'd only alter the roof as part of a larger construction project, such as a general renovation and renewal of the structure.  Or perhaps if they were looking at filling the corners in of the adjoining stands (which I believe would require alterations to the Kop's roof supports).  So yeah, wont happen in the near future.
