Had some bad stuff in my time, including a replica kit from Coed Mawr Market in about '91

Fuck me only just spotted this...Coed Mawr market?????? What a fucking Shit hole that was!!!! If there was anything authentic on that market then I'm KK's love child and I'll be playing 1st team football for Liverpool next season making my debut at the tender age of 32 lol  ;D

About three years ago my mum came back from Spain with a what seemed like a wool jersey. Horrible attempt at recreating the Carlsberg logo and complete with M.OWEN #12 on the back  ???

I looked for it and couldn't find it, but I bought a crappy, rip-off watch with the Liverpool logo on it from somewhere in Asia for a couple of dollars. It seemed decent enough, until I got back home, had a closer look and realised it said 'You'll Neever Walk Alone'.

Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Looks like Sabu Pundit is selling his retro kit.

totally outsized carlsberg logo - otherwise if they hadn't bothered with it and left it out, it wouldn't be a bad loking shirt with the 'late 80's' crest

An LFC condom. Spit straight down the middle and those bastards scored.

I didn't read the rest of the thread.  Winner.

I live in the States.  A couple of years ago while thrift-store shopping, my sister found and bought for me what I think was a knock-off replica of the 1998 away jersey with a name on the back that didn't correspond to any player who has ever played for Liverpool.  I think it was either "Stewart" or "Pierce" (I have no idea how I have those two names mixed up).  A couple of months later, a buddy of mine and I crossed the ocean to attend the home match against Newcastle (during the '08-'09 season, unfortunately we couldn't hear the "You should have stayed on the telly" chant for Shearer) and I offered him the shirt with the warning that the name was probably just some random fan's and wasn't a player's... He opted to borrow my "I <3 Liverpool FC" t-shirt (where the heart was actually replaced by an Adidas logo) instead.  I never got that shirt back, actually... Crazy trip.

Not sure if this counts.

When I was a kid round 1994-1995 I really wanted a lfc kit, and i kept sayin for my bday I wanted one, my ma single mother obv couldnt afford splashing out on a kit, but my nan said shed do her best, she asked which one I wanted (Our entire family are Evertonians btw, my Uncle followed his late-brother and he brought his kids up at blues and tried to convert me at an early age but didnt work), I said the red one, not the blue one, the blue was our Alans team. So when my birthday came round I opened my present and I saw a red top, as you could expect I was super excited with it and got it unwrapped instantly...

Only to find a Sharp Manchester united kit with Cantona on the back.

When we all arrived back in Taksim Square after the game in 2005 it was mental, I saw a local kid selling  big red & white flags and had to have one for my boy who was on my shoulders.

The little Turk was a nice kid and even apologised that the flags were €40 (he even gave us a 'deal' to pay in €'s and not Turk currency).  As one the 50,000 happiest people in Istanbul that night I even told him to keep the change from the €50 I gave him !   :butt

Thing is now I cant get rid of it and insist it comes to the the game with us even if it stays in the car, and to be fair its seen Athens, Wembley etc since that night.

My brother got this lovely shirt a few years ago, it even has Kuyt on the back.
