So expectations are high among the Liverpool faithful as the Klopp reds run riot on the hollowed ground of Anfield, goals, free flowing football and edge of the seat excitement that even with the biggest moaning fuckers on here just cannot get a bad word in, you know who you are, you know. Liverpool are on the up so enjoy the ride and follow the team that has now got Mr. Jurgen's smile all over it. For you younger Reds I am 45 next March and I have seen the glory days of Kenny, Rush, Barnes and Hansen, I was even privileged to watching the great Jimmy Carter play at Anfield, so what I am saying is buckle down and enjoy what is commonly know as the beautiful game as we are the exponents of just that.

It is just over twelve months since Klopp took over at Liverpool and we have now gone from average Joes to a rampat Red machine burning up the Premier League like a German jugernout and we have now gone on a run that sees us unbeaten in all compititons since the loss to Burnley, still grates me that one. The Klopp style and mentallity has now firmly arrived on Merseyside and it is the free flowing football that was witnessed at BVB. It is all down to a good work ettic and a plan of action from the boss who wants to play his way and everyone is now on the same page, but ya know what, we can get better. Fun aint it?

Nothing can be taken for granted as we are all to aware of so that makes me think that this Sunderland game is one of those games that we should and will in my opinion win, now in saying that The Black Cats have found some form and Jermaine Defoe is still a constant source of goals for them, and now they have Victor Anichibe, yes i know mad aye. Two wins on the bounce for the messiah of Sunderland which has the fans a little more happy but i am guessing that a trip to Anfield was not the one Davy would have picked if asked. Defensive fralities are the big undoing of Sunderland and honestly they are a poor side, a very poor side and I feel Jurgen will go for the jugular from the off.

Liverpool have scored an impressive 30 goals in 12 games but have let in 14, not the best but if you look at our opponents they have scored 12 and let in 21, so if we get at them and we will as I feel they are not a Southampton nor are they a Man Untied who are better organised outfits. Bar Defore really Sunderland have nothing to offer and the lack of possession on Saturday will curb his chances, but he is to be honest a one chance one goal player. Now on us Firmino, Phil, Mane and whoever else plays we will have way to much for them.

So come Saturday it is Second from top v Second from bottom. I will predcit.

Liverpool 4-0 Sunderland.

Team:

Karius, Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Can, Hederson, Wijnaldun, Couthino, Mane, Firmino.

So just remember this ya all, WE ARE LIVERPOOL.

Believe.

So buckle down boys and girls is gonna be fun.

McNair, Cattermole, and Djibodji all out for them. John O'Shea vs Mane, Coutinho, Firmino.

6-0 win, Sturridge will get his first league goal of the season.

Even though Defoe and Anichebe are gelling, we should have too much. The stupid international break made the likes of Coutinho and Firmino not at their best last match now with some rest, hopefully they are re-energised.

Get the early goal and it will be a comfortable win, 3-0.

Come on Redmen!!
Looking forward to watching this for the first time in the Main Stand Upper.
Shame they have started to get a result or two but still can't see them being able to cope with our movement and speed of passing. Just calm heads required in top third of the pitch please.

I'm hoping for us to thrash them, really help out our goal difference and keep ourselves as high up the table as possible. Obviously, the game still needs to be won no matter who the opponents are, but I feel like we scare teams shitless when they come to Anfield at the moment.

It's a good time to play them. They've been very poor at the start, won a couple of games, and got some false confidence. We need to watch out for Defoe obviously, he's lethal in the area. Can't wait to see the face on Moyes after we score a couple.

Tiny bit worried we might go into this one with a relaxed air of over confidence. Hopefully Klopp doesn't allow that to happen. If we lose, it certainly won't be down to being tactically out-thought by David Moyes. I just hope the lads are on point, and treat this game as though were it against a top 4 rival.

We'll batter them, though in the coming days the thread will be filled with people saying "no easy game" "I'm nervous, these are the games we need to prove we can win" just like before Hull, Leicester, Watford etc. We'll score 10 at least, concede a late consolation and there will be a 30min segment on SSN about how we cant win the title defending like that.

Thanks Sarge,  nice op

I will be there with my boy on his 8th birthday... it's a sign I tells ya, 8-x...

If Jurgen was my boss i'd be benched for that!

Anyway, I'm definitely in the believer camp and don't feel like I have the ability to jinx the team any more, which is a strange feeling after so many years.  We will win.  This is a side that is balanced, trusts each other, and play at a pace impossible for most to live with.  Yes, there will be heroic defending, there might even be a Defoe or Anichebe goal, but It's more likely to be 8-4 than 0-0.

Enjoy!

Win the league and the only trophy left for him to win is the World Cup... I wouldn't put it past him!

3 home points and last weeks draw looks ok,be nice to rack up a big score an early goal might just see us do that. But as long as we get the 3 points I'll be happy.

Personally reckon we'll beat them 3-1.

He'll be back in a couple of games most likely, but we've got a strong enough squad to cope without him, plus Coutinho and Firmino will be back to their best.

Proper worried about this one. Moyes has finally got them winning, and they've proven year after year that they're a resilient team when it matters. I'd take a draw right now.

Nah, just kidding. 8-0 at half time. It's the shittest team in the league, with the shittest manager in the league. Twat them.

Fantastic OP.

After last weeks showing where we should have won,Sunderland are going to feel the effects of that and i can see us scoring 4-5 goals.

Moyes can plan for 10 men behind the ball, but they have shocking defenders so won't be able to keep us at bay for 90 mins.

4-0 in the first half, sub Mane and Coutinho in second and cruise to 8-0. 😊

Anything but a win would be disappointing, I don't mind we snatch a 1:0 victory. Sunderland would probably park the bus though and looking for a draw.
