*sigh*

Had chances but just didn't take them.

Coutinho looked way off pace and probably shouldn't have started, Manés passing was woeful in the first half, brightside though is we did still create chances against a team playing for a draw and we kept a clean sheet.

Definately 2 points dropped though.

Not the worst result in the world, but that was a frustrating game of football. No more international breaks for a while, thank god.

Didn't panic, kept playing, but today we didn't get the breakthrough.

Most days we would.  Southampton still a really good side too.

Frustrating, but if we keep playing that way we will do fine.

Those Firmino and Clyne chances should've ended up in the back of the net..

Think we were due for one of those snakebitten performances. Onwards.

Hard to win when your kicking against the side of a 75 metre bus. Pathetic from Southampton, but you have to say that Firmino should be scoring that chance. As soon as that flashed wide I knew it was gonna be a draw.

Having said that, I'll take a clean sheet and staying top of the league.

Meh, it's a clean sheet and a point, whilst we're still top of the table for now. Southampton knew how dangerous we are and made sure to keep us from scoring.

Southampton defended well and we still should have had at least 2. Frustrating, but shit happens and this was our toughest game for another month.

The players worked their asses off but were clearly knackered, like the united game this was probably the worst fixture for us after an exhausting international break.

Shame but it wasn't for lack of trying, we may lose the top spot but we're still up there with another tough fixture out of the way.

Clean sheets fucking suck. :(

Not the end of the world. Definitely didn't look quite on it. Probably down to the international break. Even so, we still should have won it.

Onwards we go. Gonna have a run of fixtures against bus parkers. A full weeks training will do us wonders. And Lallana back too.

Decent performance. Created enough chances, just didn't put them away. Not a disaster, but we can't have too many of these.

Good point away at Southampton, should have gone for the kill though.

Sturridge and Origi should have come on earlier to try and unlock that defence - Coutinho looked knackered.

Frustrating.

Failed to take chances. Southampton's small time backs-to-the-wall mentality at home just suffocated us.

Shocking finishing, we should have been comfortably ahead.

I don't understand why it took Klopp to the 75th minute to put Sturridge on and 91st minute to put on Origi  :no

Very poor from Clattenburg today, just let them foul the whole match. Should have won just didn't take our chances, not the end of the world.
