Good post - couldn't agree more.

They really couldn't have done much better overall to be honest, especially given their lack of experience in "soccer"

which I suspect they would readily admit to.

Oh... and Erdinger without a doubt is the King of Weissbier.

Carra making the point that Klopp is potentially a much more popular figure than Houllier or Benitez. Both Liverpool legends but not really held by other fans in anywhere near the same esteem.

In terms of inspiring a new generation of Liverpool fans, both inside the city and out, Klopp could be huge for us if he has the sort of success that those two had (even if he doesn't quite reach those same heights perhaps). Not that they didn't inspire anyone, but all of us are familiar with his personality before he's even got here so I think Carra's right in saying that it's a big boon for English football having him here.

Even though I've watched the press conference and all the videos it still doesnt feel real. Been a massive fan of his for years now so its still so surreal. I dont think it'll sink in until after the Spurs game.

His self awareness is incredible and I loved it when he pointed out that past managers never said they wanted to be legends.
