Can any one explain this to me?

Why would Roy get a payout for being fired when his performance is so poor?

I really don't understand that, really don't.

Contract stipulations I'd guess.

Roy is a terrible manager. No doubts there.

But Gerrard is on £110,000+ A WEEK.

On Wednesday I went to the game and he couldn't be arsed

LFC Club Captain. £110k a week.

Can't be fucking arsed.

Not sure this is brilliant. Fucking hell. More money than I earn in 3 or 4 years. And he can't be arsed.

Oh come that's rubbish.

You ever played the game mate? Not a funny question but if you have you will understand how hard it is to come back and play from injury.

Oh and all the players in a red shirt were shit the other night and it has nothing to do with wages.

If Roy now says right then Im off, who do they put in charge then ?
They must have some idea of who is going to do the job if that happens, which I think it will.

He must have no self respect. 96% of the support want him gone and took the piss at the last home game.

He's hanging on for the ca$h.

Roy please look at yourself. Is this really how you would like to be remembered by people around here? While you have a tiny bit of dignity. do the right thing. For you. For us. For football. For your career.

to be honest i reckon his career is done now, hence why he's holding out for one last payday

Not sure on this but if the times is stating fact could this be constructive dismissal

not that i want roy to go away with anything.  If he had any pride he would walk away and say the job was just to big for him.

Yes, but he has a contract from LFC saying he will be paid x amount for the next three years, LFC would be reneging on that.

Not happy with this. It removes any incentive for manager and players to do anything. The manager won't try, as he's gone anyway (not that him trying was any good). The players won't follow his direction anymore, because he's gone (not that his direction existed or helped). If he had been sacked, they would've tried to impress a new manager or to get results in for the clubs future. There's no real reason to perform now. Bad move by FSG imo, they should have just sacked him or at least relieved him from duty, with an assistant taking over for tomorrows match. How long will this continue, until the summer?

Lets hope they put this out there beacuse talks with a new manager are further than they are letting on to.

Sign Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season.

He brings Mario Gotze and Nuri Sahin  or Lucas Barrios with him.

Klopp is in Germany? If this is him he can bring Hummells & Subotic with ihm.

I for one would grow tired of managing the club I played for and was an idol at, with the greatest team they have ever produced, and some of the worlds greatest talent, 100% backing of the board to go to a total shambles of a club with Paul Konchesky as the left back.

You speak much sense.
