Yeah, would work well in Liverpool, you know where it rains about 90% of the time!

It works well over there because they have a hell of a lot of games each year. Pubs/bars are what is needed here, and we have those currently and more will be added in various places including the new Avenue.

It doesn't have to be just snack bars etc, club shops, anything really, creates jobs aswell, I think anything that adds to the match day experience can only be good.

Thats what the whole of the Avenue is going to be as well as the refronted Walton Breck Rd.

Will be quality when it's done, I was hoping we would finally see all the details today. :)

Yeah, I can't wait until we see all the details since it seems like there's a lot more going on than just the rebuilt stands.

I like those images, of course we dont know what the final application will prove to be but its understated and definite link to the old kop stand.
Classy.

Dayum, inside it looks intimidating. Nice and steep. Kind of disappointed the liverbird went from the top but I suppose that may simply be a construction reason.

The club still uses the full crest on most things apart from the kit.

I was actually looking through the online store at stuff and was noticing that very little of the current merch uses that crest. That's what made me question it is all.

You can just about make out how the roof and side will look on the stage D artists image. These are more in-depth, expect more on the Annie Road later.

I like the way the corporate boxes are not too prominent, like they are in the Centenary, tucked nicely underneath the top and middle tiers. .

Maybe you're right then, I just vaguely remember them saying when they brought the classic bird back for the kit that they'd continue to use the crest for most other stuff. Personally, I'd prefer just the Liver bird too.

Only thing I don't like is the bloody red and white crazy paving all over the show!

Stand looks excellent inside and out. Few slight changes (mainly to the roof) from the designs we saw previously.

Also the gap between the kop and the main stand seems a bit bizarre there must be a better way to tie the stands together better than that?

Looks like the Hillsborough Memorial will be sited under the podium at the far left.

These new pictures don't show the underground tunnel which appeared in earlier pictures - wonder what's gone on there ?

The planners will have had an eye over the plans already. Maybe they asked to have it taken out. Who knows really.

Also - don't know if these are just representative views.....but the view inside the ground shows the paddock gone or merged with the existing lower tier. I thought they weren't going to touch the lower tier.

I imagine it's entrance is round the other side, off where Anny Road was, makes more room on the Main Stand side for things such as the memorial (good spot btw).

This bit can't be true, although is the second time I've seen it mentioned - 'and place Liverpool behind only Manchester United in terms of match-day revenues.'

United turnover £109m on match days, and Arsenal are behind them on £92.8m. Surely an increase to 58,500 wouldn't increase our match day revenue to over £93m?

Yeah, maybe - it's just that on an earlier cross-sectional view it showed an underground parking area. The Memorial.....I just clicked on the picture to enlarge and spotted it then !
