Texieria - Brighton
Origi - Lille

Some talent there!

There is a couple of good twitter accounts floating about dedicated to following our players on loan.

Thanks @deadset... always enjoy these threads. In fact, I should spend some time on it and make it a really useful resource for RAWKITES keen to keep an eye on the development of some of our players as there is some serious potential in that bunch!

Interesting the number of 7-10m youngsters that we've taken a punt on. Its a good strategy really, as there's a good chance you at least make your money back if they turn out to be not quite Liverpool material.

Chelsea have been sending youngsters out on loan with great effect for years now. Look at Courtois. Look at the price they got for Lukaku.

I like the strategy our club is taking at the moment. I'd like to see Ibe get out on loan too.

This season I'm excited to see how Luis Alberto, Ilori and Origi progress.

Wisdom was extremely solid today. Did well as part of an extremely well-drilled WBA rearguard.

Can't put my finger on Origi's performance today as Lille were utter dross.

He started on the left wing and ended the game as a centre forward is all I can say.

Can't put my finger on Origi's performance today as Lille were utter dross.

He started on the left wing and ended the game as a centre forward is all I can say.

He barely touched the ball, but beat 2 defenders in a limited amount of space two different times to create the most interesting opportunities Lille had all game. Haven't seen any weaknesses in his game yet. Power, size, control, and intelligent touches. Tough to judge the movement.

Caught Luis Alberto for Malaga on Saturday. Doesn't look interesting to me yet. Can't be carrying a #10 that does no defensive work whatsoever unless he is banging them in and setting them up left and right, but only one game and it was against a good side. I know he scored, but come on  8) .

Awesome to see so many of our loanees doing well, led by Teixeira!

Whats the latest on Suso? Last I read in the Echo was that the club was discussing a new contract with him but nothing seems to have come of it. Is he gonna stick around the first team this season then? I think he'd be better off going on loan to another PL club but only if he signs a contract first.

Wasn't in the squad at the weekend. Could return with a winner's medal mind. Early days but Bordeaux look good and stranger things have happened recently in the french league not least with Montpellier winning

I hope that Teixeira will bide his time before he slots in in the Liverpool side. He seems to be doing well according to reports, so I hope that he can tame that hunger for fast success.

Thanks for posting that, was a pleasure reading it. I felt like copying and pasting every single comment onto here but I'll let others have the pleasure of viewing that themselves. We knew he had talent but its nice to hear other fans recognize it so unanimously, and at the expense of United's best prospect too lol  8)

Alberto, I believe, beautifully assisted a goal to Juanmi with a chip pass but the linesman wrongfully ruled offside.

Malaga are down to 10 men, down 3-0 (one of them was a penalty).

Is Ilori injured? The lack of game time so far after 4 games is a bit worrying.
