are you in the auto cup scheme for this competition?
If you are you will have recieved an email saying payments will start from the 7th January.
The issue isn't about " what you signed up for"
The club should show a bit of common sense after most regular match going reds have just paid a big wedge of money in the November sales.
And regards the comment on moaning about if we draw Everton or the mancs is pathetic!
Something a big game Charlie would come out with.
People are struggling this time of year and the club should think about that.
OK, let me just point out that my post wasn't aimed directly at you, more in general at those who sign up knowing how it works, and then cancel for one reason or another (usually when we draw a League Two side). Apologies if it came across as a direct response to you, it wasn't intended.
Yes, I'm in the ACS for all competitions, and while it's not ideal to be paying so far in advance, I understood this would be the probable case. On the plus side, it's also a big benefit that there is no need to take time off work, be available at a specific time, phone up, go the ground etc.... to get the ticket, and I will be in my usual ST seat. I too am hoping for an away game Ted, but perhaps for different reasons to you.
There's also a little bit of irony in anyone being unhappy at the early processing of payments, if as mentioned, they have just bought tickets for league games six months in advance.
The ACS is very good for those who know they are going to go to every game. For those who perhaps want to pick and choose games (and there's absolutely nothing wrong in that), then they can make that decision and take their chances on tickets, and pay for them closer to the game.
