I think he deserves a separate thread to the rest of players in the post match thread.

He was absolutely world class today and can hold his head up high. Will be the mainstay of our defence for years to come.

Please merge with an existing thread if it is around, but I couldn't find it!

He's fucking boss. He's becoming more vocal and more animated on the pitch now, he's clearly growing in confidence and he's one of the first names on the team sheet for me.

Hadn't even thought about it until now, but yeah, he'd be an excellent choice for the armband next season. He's clearly settled now, both on and off the pitch, isn't afraid to take on the responsibility of organizing the defence and give his teammates a shout, and contrary to the media, is an excellent passer and a reliable defender both on the ground and in the air. Not to mention he's got the experience at PSG.

Its probably very harsh to question his postitioning for the Mata goals right? Moreno needs to do better.

He's got the first touch of Djimi Traore but the extendable legs of Mark Lawrenson. Easily our best tackler, and right up there in terms of leadership, really like the lad. Plus you wouldn't mess with him.
