Personally Mass Effect is what you could call KOTOR in another universe, Shepard's similarity to Revan and Exile couldn't be any more similar in which they lead the Universe against an upcoming menace - heck my female Shepard is a Biotic herself qualifies herself as some kind of Jedi already. Would anybody want to replay Mass Effect in the form KOTOR?
Someone should do the right thing - go back in time to 1992 and destroy the codes to Championship Manager before it is ever released

Ken-Obi, Dragon Age or Mass Effect for you?

I prefer Mass Effect as a game, but Dragon Age has an incredibly rich, deep and detailed world.
Never did Dragon Age - I lost much interest in D&D-type RPGs ever since they ditched the isometric view of Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale for the 3D crap that started as Neverwinter Nights. Ok, maybe it's not crap but it's no longer feels like playing an RPG anymore. Might pick it up one of these days but I'd wait patiently for ME3 first.

As of now, I'd say Mass Effect 1 & 2 might well be two of the best games of all time.

The only real similarity is that they are both sci-fi RPG's. Mass Effect is real time shooting while KOTOR is classic turn based combat. Mass Effect probably would work in a turn based form but would it be any good? Maybe.

I just want another KOTOR like RPG set in the star wars universe.

Good news is now I have more time to finish Skyrim before playing this.

Just a quick question, what DLC are going to have an effect on ME3? Just got live so I want to play through them first.

Pretty much all of the story packs, aside from the Zaeed one which instead might only have a minor plotline running through into ME3. Kasumi, Shadow Broker and Arrival are all big hitters.

My female Shephard is a lesbo in both episodes. Hopefully they don't force her to choose a guy on the third. The male members are just... boring. :P

DonEon't mind the delay if it gives them more time to polish it. Especially considering how much of a mess and rushed Dragon Age 2 was.

I hope they include many more oppurtunities to bang hot alien birds as well.

Maybe there would be side quests about the Illusive Man, about his post Washington days et al.

That said, agree wholeheartedly with Osiris there, Kaidan is just too boring a guy and Ashley whines. She survived once with my male Shepard but was promptly replaced with Tali in the second. There's something about the Quarian enviro-suit that tickles my fancy.. ;)

There were fan made drawings of what Tali looks like under the 'bucket', my favourite being a high quality art work showing her holding the mask in her hands, smiling at Shepard, one version of which with eye pupils and the other of all whites.

Can't post it on here as I'm on wap access with expensive data charges, maybe someone could do us a favour.

Great game so far.
Any news about part III release date ?

Oh, by the way, is it possible to keep the whole lot alive in part II ?
I sent that doctor chappy to lead group 2 and he didn't make it, I'm afraid ...
Does the leader of group 2 always die, or did I make the wrong choise assigning him ?

That's not strictly accurate, the doctor has a chance of dying no matter the choices you make. Its one of the things that caused a few grumbles online.

My friend apparently had to do it four times with the exact same choices and everything before he survived. I took the easy way out and just put the idiot in my party for the final parts of the game to save myself the grief.

So yeah, just keep at it, everyone making it through is possible.

No, people die at the end based on who gets left to hold the line. Each person has an "armour" rating, the average points have to be higher than a certain amount, or people die, starting with Mordin.
