Oh and that cross from Alexander-Arnold. That was beautiful, and he made it look easy.

Never in doubt. Some of you were crying over nothing.
I'm loving the cool there, KH - you're feeling this Klopp team, aren't you?

And you're right to be. Because we're fucking brilliant.

Brilliant moment for Woodburn, Alexander-Arnold and Ejaria were excellent too.  Great night for the youngsters.

Thought Lucas had a really good game, Wijnaldum was much better in the second half too.  The interplay for the second goal was superb.

Onto the semi-finals.

I actually thought they completely outplayed us, particularly in the second half, but the difference is having the quality to kill the game off in the key moments.

All things considered though, a fantastic night! Rested some key players, no injuries, through to the semi finals and an impressive showing from all three of the youngsters who were amongst our best players. What's not to like?!

Victory. Thought we owned the game, but in the second half it was as if Leeds took control of the center. We lost some balls, our defenders couldn't find the midfielders and for a while Leeds could have hurt us. We were lucky when they hit the post. Expected Klopp to bring on some experience, but Woodburn and Alexander was what we needed. Very happy for both of them. Semi Final next, hopefully followed by another trip to Wembley.

Bit too slow in the build up tonight, we seemed a bit too relaxed maybe and found it difficult to open Leeds up. Good result in the end though and some great experience for the younger lads.

I thought Henderson was conspicuous by his absence. It's not that Stewart really did anything much badly or wrong, but we lacked a platform in midfield that we're beginning to take for granted.

Winning is all that matters. Getting those 3 points (and qualifying for the semis) while playing badly only makes it sweeter - oh the fewm of other fanbases!

Great goals, too. Loved TAA's accurate pass for Origi's goal and then the beautiful team performance crowned by young Woodburn's goal... boss.

Up the qualifying Reds! :scarf

So damn made up about everything Klopp and Liverpool are doing.

I remember our youngsters getting dicked on by Arsenal's youth 6-3 in this round 10 odd years ago now. Amazing to see how far we've come and the faith that's being placed in, and repaid, by the academy. Credit to them all. Well in.

Woodburn scoring & becoming our youngest ever goalscorer, TAA with a great assist for Origi's goal & probably being the best player on the pitch at 18, clean sheet, the majority of our first choice players being rested, through to the semis... not a bad night I'd say :D

Completely agree with this. Now you've said it,  it seems obvious.  We've dominated midfield in most of our games this season, probably first half arsenal and patches of spurs aside.

Completely won me over, I was skeptical of him being the sole DM, but this perfectly describe what he does. Gives a platform. Every game. Dominates.

Fast becoming a brilliant leader too.

They gave us a good go Leeds, Monk has got them playing well but ultimately patience and quality shone through.

Thought Can and Alexander Arnold looked decent tonight, that cross for Origi was immense.

Absolutely made up for the kid Woodburn, quite a prospect.  ;D

And you're right to be. Because we're fucking brilliant.

We have never really lost control in any game bar the first period against Swansea and Arsenal. We also always get into good positions around the box and you can tell the players are high on confidence so eventually that will pay off.

What is also clear is that the opposition is having to put a real shift in to keep up and so obviously that will drop off.

Great result, top performances from everyone, but the youngsters in particular, Trent-Alexander, Ejaria, Woodburn.
MOM from a young full-back speaks volumes to his ability.
Woodburn's goal? A great LFC moment, and I hope the first of many from him here.

Brilliant performance, another semi-final. Bring on anyone, in the fixtures, and off the bench.

In the end our better quality paid off. Leeds did have a few moments but for me the result wasn't in doubt. We had the better players on the pitch and in Origi a much better finisher. His goal was excellent........a great cross and a brave finish.

Oh and youngest ever goalscorer for us.............I guess his win bonus will be Fifa17.

Not a vintage performance by some of our players, but a good result and excellent performances from the young'uns. Well done to the lads.

That hug after the final whistle between TAA and Woodburn was something else. Made up for them, really.

One of the best crosses I ever saw! Well done lad!
That was sweet. He crossed it in as close to the keeper as possible, but with enough spin on it to make it curve away from him and onto the foot of whoever was willing to stick a toe in. What set this one apart was that he was a bit deep, so the technique looked really accomplished.

And well done, Ben Woodburn! Hoping for many more. We've waited a long time for a professional 2-0 and all of a sudden, we've got 2 in a row. How often does that happen?

Leeds fans were loud but lacked class. Do one with your 'sign on' and generic shite. Mind you, I wish some of our fans could be arsed showing as much passion.

The game was a strange one. Leeds showed plenty of spirit but I thought they'd only hurt us if we made a mistake and gifted them something like we've done with similar sides in the past. Even though we were a bit slow and ponderous at times I thought our superior abilities were always evident despite us fielding a much-changed team.

Nice poach from Origi and I loved the way Woodburn buried his effort with relish.
