Just gave a pair of white jeans away, not up on this style lark like Hass.

a couple of directors i've worked with in the past have been making some really excellent feature films of late.

i saw jon watt's spiderman at the weekend and loved it.

here's the video he made that persuaded me to work with him on fatboy slim.

They're originally german army issue trainers. They had stacks of them in a second hand shop I was in in Amsterdam the other week for 25 Euros, couldn't be arsed rummaging through for a size 8.

i watched 'three days of the condor' again last night and was reminded of robert redford's effortless and timeless style.

he starts in his bureau office rocking a donegal tweed jacket apparently lined in red silk.

rocked with a cashmere scarf; navy scooped neck jumper over a chambray shirt; faded flared denim and some hiking boots.

after he goes on the run he sports a classic pea coat/rayban aviator combo.

he looks as fresh as if he bought it all yesterday.

bravo.

Did you end up picking these up mate? I’m thinking of getting the black ones for winter.

Reading some reviews online a few people seem to be saying the fitting is on the small side, go half a size up.

have seen a few lads scooting round soho in them and they're definitely lovely in the flesh but no idea on sizing.

I got a pair of the black ones, £50 in the sale. It would be rude not to.

The quality is really good, there is cushioning in the sole which is a bit weird for adidas trainers.

Speaking of vibes, Gucci's new direction is all kinds of swag. Just a shame I can't afford any of it but Gucci under Alessandro Michele are putting out some of the best stuff I've seen for a while.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

thank you chaps just saw these messages.  dinner at p.franco on friday night with lovely wife and their flight path of wine; pasta vongole with crab on saturday with a lovely sancerre; a game pie with a rioja on the sunday.  there was also some brandy and a load of chocolate ;D

btw if you want to read about p.franco it just got eater's london restaurant of the year award yesterday https://london.eater.com/2017/12/5/16734304/best-london-restaurant-chef-design-delivery-eater-awards-2017

it's a natural wine shop that does 3-6 month stints with up and coming chefs.  they just have two ceramic hobs to cook on for 15 covers and then charge corkage on the wine.  it's so good.  definitely my favourite place to eat for past couple of years.

Something for you dapper chaps to consider.

Do you have an item of clothing that you have now thrown/given away that you think, I should have kept that?

I used to have a lovely orange Duffer of St George (not the Debenhams rubbish) puffa jacket.  Got rid because everyone said I looked like a pumpkin, wish I'd kept that one.
