oof!  check out these bad boys from asics.  these are so beautiful i might even consider running in them ;D

Fresh off a Reebok collaboration, 24 Kilates unveil their ASICS Gel Lyte Speed collaboration. Based on the San Fermin Fiesta, the shoe’s design features a light-colored upper set against white and red highlights. A further “Fiesta Kit” is also on the horizon. The shoe will release on July 10th, 2010.

if jesus where alive today he would be living in california as the head of a software company and he would be wearing visvim christo folk:

visvim unveils an new iteration of its CHRISTO SHERPA-FOLK model. A much sleeker version of the more well-known CHRISTO, the strapped sandal features a tonal stitching on the instep as well as tri-colored straps. Available as of this week at select visvim stockists.

stussy and bape are linking up for some anniversary action and i think this t looks lots of fun:

A special edition of the previous design, Stussy have again used BAPE’s original ABC camo and their own signature logo for this collaborative tee which celebrates the L.A. brand’s impressive 30th anniversary. The T-shirt will be available exclusively to Stussy Tribe Premiere Card Members and will be limited to just 1000 pieces. For chance to own a future classic, pre-order now from Stussy.

its the white satin blazers for me.  naturally.

Nike drops this new set of Nike Blazers for Summer 2010 featuring a quilted, satin motif. Two different colorways are offered in this release, including a white with gold threading and silver swoosh and a more vibrant red colorway with gold accents.

one more before i head off to our shoot.  these are stupid expensive but strangely beguiling again from the mighty house of visvim.  made of elk skin they are none more comfortable though gloriously impractical - strictly house wear only.

The Maliseet or Wolastoqiyik are a Wabanaki Native American/First Nations/Aboriginal people who are the Indigenous peoples of the Saint John River valley and its tributaries, between New Brunswick, Quebec, and Maine. The Maliseet Elk Folk moccasin from Visvim will win you over once you put it on - ultra soft elk leather, natural crepe sole, cork footbed...

- 100% natural pigment-free elk leather upper
- linerless
- natural cork footbed
- chemical-free crepe outsole
- half-welt insert for heel support and toe flexibility
- TPU heel stabilizer
- Native American Indian inspired heel detailing
- pearl detailing

help - I'm being corrupted!  I actually quite like these.

they're the billionaire playboy slipper of choice.  i can just imagine flavio briatore slipping into a pair as he stumbles from his water bed for a late night swollen prostate induced piss off the side of his yacht the disco volante.

i think these are fun.  italy meets japan equals stupid fucking expensive but what can you do?

Storied Italian footwear brand Pantofola d’Oro pairs up with Japan’s 45rpm on a new set of sneakers, both of which feature a hickory motif amongst the brand’s Top Spin and Legend silhouettes. Along with canvas and premium leathers, the shoes represent an interesting collaboration between both brands, boasting 45rpm’s superb denim construction onto the universal base that is a sneaker. The collection looks to release this Winter season, produced in limited numbers and only being made available through four exclusive accounts in Italy, including Penelope, San Carlo, Antonia Man, and Lazzari.

hello sailor:

La MJC pulls the covers off his latest collaboration based on the Lacoste Broadwick. Featuring a full seersucker material on the upper, a monogram ship embroidery is a play off of Broadwick, a small street in Soho and its subsequent boating background. Leather details including the tongue feature the saying “Fluctuat nee mergitur” which translates roughly into “it floats but does not sink”. The La MJC x Lacoste Broadwick will be available on July 3rd at colette and at Solemart Paris 2010 on July 4th, limited to the tune of 75 pairs.

I like the Vivsims Hass mate!

What you lot don't realise is that Hass lives some kind of Being John Malcovich Malcovich life where you're stood next to him in a boozer and a neverending stream of scantily clad supermodels come over to air-kiss him on both cheeks and then one on his bald spot for good luck and he turns round to you and says 'yeah I once snorted XYZ off her naked whatjamacallums on La Isla Bonita at an all-nighter in 19oatcake'.

i have to admit they would be very hard to pull off.  never really been a fan of the dunk in either hi or lo top.  it was always a bit 'trip-hop/big-beat' for my tastes but to be fair some of my best mates swear by them.  air max one for me and before that all kinds of 90s lightweight jazzy running shoes - air max triax swift being the pinnacle for me - and of course who doesn't dig the air force one in all white or dove grey with white sole and swoosh?

still if pushed it would be supreme chinos rolled up at the bottom, no socks and a navy blue flannel shirt buttoned all the way up.

All feature a slew of pockets and compartments, perfect for a one day trip. Available now through Beams, with a retail price of ¥32,970 (Approx. $369 USD).
