Liverpool players to score on debut
« on: February 2, 2011, 10:56:26 pm »
Little luiz knocked one in on debut, who else has done it?
WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

Normally a player can look great on tubes, but one of the things that's encouraging for me is just the amount of youtube videos on him

Collymore?

Did Camara score against Sheffield Wednesday? Fowler and Owen both did, didn't they?

Twice in fact. Against Southampton.

Ah home debut it was, indeed as corrected below!

Diouf and Torres both on their home debut I think. Torres' first game was away to Villa I think? And Diouf's first game the charity shield?

edit - Too late. As above!

No it was his 2nd match when he scored against the rentboys. He made his debut against Aston Villa.

Unless ofcourse you're talking about Anfield debuts..

Some freckled fruit.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Not on his debut, he got one then, away at Craven Cottage. Then 5 in the second leg.

Didn't Carra score on his Premiership debut?

Carra's debut was off the bench in the League Cup at Boro. Think that Villa goal was his fist league game (and first start). Booked in the 1st minute as well I think?

Jamie Carragher ?

Quote
He signed a professional contract in October 1996 and then made his first team debut under Roy Evans' management three months later in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final against Middlesbrough, coming on as a substitute for Rob Jones. Next came his Premiership debut, again coming on as a substitute, against West Ham United. He then started the next game against Aston Villa and marked the occasion with his first goal (a header in front of the Kop) in a 3–0 win to temporarily take the side to the top of the table, but Liverpool finished the season in fourth place.
