You gotta love Lucas ability to stay in the squad and convince manager after manager of his usefulness. Klavan was Klopp's signing, but nope. Never write him off. Featured in about half the games now.

Watford are a decent team this season, but if we're on our game we won't be denied.

Quick start please Redmen!

This place will be unbearable if we drop points. Reckon a lot already have their "couldn't handle the pressure" "had a chance to make a statement and blew it" posts already written up.

Good results for us so far this weekend, but we need to consolidate it by making sure we don't trip up today.

We need to make the Lucas' weakness in the air irrelevant by scoring a couple of goals early on.

Don't think you can drop him after a goal and such a good performance against Palace. Hopefully we will be seeing more powerful bursts into the box which we've lacked for too long.
I agree, wasn't sure if Klopp would though

Big slap in the face for Sakho there.

When asked about Lucas at CB, Júrgen said "There were 2 choices there.  Tough choice".  2, not 3?  Lucas, Klavan and... that other guy?

Anyway, guess that's just a reminder of how far Sakho is from the first team these days.

Now LET'S DO THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Will be keen to see what sort of plan Mazzarri has for us. Clever chap that he is. But regardless unless the pitch is a quagmire then I see us bossing the ball and you can be sure we'll have Deeney and Ighalo pressing the fuck out of our defence when we try to pass it out but these are situations we have already faced and overcome so our boys as Kloppo would say should be ready.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

I wonder if JK ever thought well of Sakho or if it was the incident in preseason that did him in.

Sakho is finished at the club mate

Certainly seems that way, doesn't it.

Shame, as I (we?) really liked him as a fan, but it appears that he may be too immature for Júrgen.
