Indeed, but aside from those decisions he played a number of advantages that allowed the game to flow and he didn't penalise every bit of contact. I think that's one of the better refereeing performances we've had for a while.

Insane first half - unstoppable going forwards and mistakes costing us again at the back.

Good to see Lovren make up for his error - he looked like a man possessed after that. Nice performance from Matip again , with the added bonus of a goal !

Hope Milner is back at left back next week as Moreno is too much of a liability as a defender , which is a shame because he is pretty good on the wing going forwards.

Coutinho and Firmino were both superb.

Our attack is so fluid and another show of things to come today with both Firmino and Sane latching on to perfectly weighted passes from Coutinho, Lallana and Hendo.

Wish we had put the game to bed earlier as usual though , was still fairly nervy until we got that fourth !!

Our matches are never boring for sure - heavy metal football indeed !!

All in all , a great performance - onwards and upwards !!

A quite satisfying win, actually. Overcoming a brainfart, getting two our CBs to score. Surely we are now more confident in attacking knowing that we can score from corners. Brilliant!

Wouldn't worry too much. That first half was just far too stretched. Without the Lovren error leading to the goal, I think we might have knocked another one or two and just kept the ball and saved energy. Having the deficit reduced led to our team perhaps going a bit too hard.

Good result again and a very good performance

Bad defending for their goals but dominated the match and scored some lovely goals again.

Karius performed well and made some crucial saves

Coutinho was sublime, so much so they tried everything second half to just foul him out of the game

Matip is unreal, such a great centre back and his playstyle is great to watch

Which one? I thought the ref was excellent standing up against their tactics of diving in the box and screaming at the ref. The only sure penalty should have been ours when their defender handled the ball in the first half when Coutinho headed.

Get in,great spirit by the lads. could have won by 7 or 8 again. always look like scoring every time we go forward, fantastic play, ref deserves applause for not bowing to pressure with all the dives.

Only big mistakes i can remember were the handball from phils header and Cans challenge on cabaye, not quite quick enough...yellow card. Mcarthur pulls ball out of karius' hand when trying to throw it to start a quick counter... no card

Ten games in makes the 23 points an easy division to 2.3 points per game, which if we keep hold of as an average puts us on 87 for the season.
