The way we're playing at the moment, whether it be in the league or in any of the cups, I fear no one.

I just hope for a home tie.

From a selfish point of view, I'd be happy with either Hull or Leeds away as it would be local to me, but anyone at home would also do!

Never play vs Rafa in a must-win game. I know he's at Newcastle now and they've forgotten what silver and gold look like but he as a manager is a trophy winning machine.

Rafa's record in finals is quite good you know.

Just want a home draw so I don't have to travel. Preferably Arsenal/United/City/Chelsea

Knowing our luck in draws, we'll get any one from Chelsea, Arsenal or City/United. But we'll beat them too

Any of the "bigger" teams at home, one less to worry about meeting us in the final.

Newcastle vs Man United (Rafa vs Mourinho) would be good to watch, and I reckon Newcastle would give them a good go at home.

Will be amazed if we don't get drawn a big team, probably away from home.

Hoping for a home tie against one of the stronger sides, too. Better to face one of them at home in the quarters than in a home-away tie in the semis.

I'd take any of the last three as a preference. European football would be where their priorities will lie in the cup competitions. Much like Spurs last night.
Chelsea though may well throw a decent side out given it represents a good opportunity to get some silverware.
We'll still pump them but just trying to save energy within the squad.

United/City at home please. Rather play them under the lights at Anfield, than get through and either have to play a leg in Manchester or the final at Wembley.

Hopefully Arsenal get West Ham.

Leeds, Man United or Newcastle away. Or Hull away. Or Sunderland away.

Not done any of those away yet.

Hardest tie possible, want to knock out the good teams early in the competition when they don't care. Two years in a row we've been beaten by the first quality team we've come up against, and that was late on in the competition. Chelsea semi final 14/15 and city in the final last year.

Hopefully this is enough related to this thread, but holy hell look at United's line-up today. They are definitely in panic mode and really need a win.

Another benefit to getting a hard draw next - we don't have any truly top teams left for the rest of this year! So could get a hard one out the way and in theory..

Couldn't care less who we get, we've got to beat someone to get to the semi-finals and I'm confident that we can beat any team remaining quite comfortably.
