Coutinho speculation seems utterly pointless at this time.
Nothing is going to happen now as the January window isn't even open.
Nothing will happen in January because we wouldn't sell mid season.
So what is the point of speculation at this moment in time?

That goal for Brazil was just stunning, immense power he got in it.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

As an explanation:

We’re more than aware how Coutinho’s profile has been elevated this season, how his close friendship with Suarez has continued and how various media outlets thrive on speculation about a link with another team. So whilst we do not wish to censor discussion about something everyone may chatter about in the pub, we have to consider where this thread would descend to.

Firstly we’ve had a long term policy, like it or not, that we don’t speculate about transfers outside of the window – that was initiated many years ago for good reason.

Secondly, leaving an open discussion about his future distracts disrespectfully from what Jurgen Klopp wishes to maintain this season. He's created a team first philosophy and no individual is more important.
And what will it get you anyway? 10 pages of valuations, why we always sell our best players, unknown contract talks and ill-informed shite. It’s pointless.

Come on, contextualize where we’re heading, how the team is performing and understand why it’s completely unnecessary to embark on a what-if, why, how, when and what-then after Coutinho transfer debate.

Sorry, but that’s not what we do on RAWK, particularly in November, when we’re  top of the league :)

I'm with the big guy on this.
