Djibril Cisse has praised Auxerre coach Guy Roux ahead of his final appearance for the French club before a probable summer move to Liverpool.
The French international striker admits he will miss aspects of life at Auxerre, in particular his relationship with Guy Roux.

''I am just a little sad to leave. I will mainly miss the dressing room atmosphere,'' admitted Cisse.

''Like everyone I have had rows with Guy Roux, but he improved me the most.

The player continued to discuss his ambitions to succeed at Anfield and admitted the prospect of life in England does at times feel daunting.

''In France, there are no clubs with such facilities," he added. "It is on another planet.

''It is almost frightening. I just hope to play but if you give your best in England, I think you can succeed.''

Meanwhile, Roux has returned Cisse's compliments by declaring the forward will improve if he does indeed end up at Liverpool.

''I think he will improve by 30 percent. This year he has scored 24 goals and only one was a penalty,'' said Guy Roux.

''He is only 22-years-old and it is logical he wants to leave for Liverpool.

''When he signed the contract with me, we agreed for him to leave in 2004.''

Still not convinced yet, If owen has another nightmare patch, The pressure will be on Cisse, at a young 22 years old, moving to a new country, playing in a new fast paced hard hitting league, I can't see him settling down for at least two years

I honestly hope I'm wrong

He's fast and quick and strong, I think he'll start very well, bit like Flo but Cisse is a much better player so he'll score his share. More worried about his second season if he goes through the typical slump, one bad month and the fans could turn on him

Flo did well and suprised defenders with his quickness, just like I think Cisse will do. Only at this stage Cisse is 3-4 years older and more polished and so will have a bigger impact

What most impresses me about those two action-packed files is that he just does the simple things. A nice side-foot past the keeper, and a well-weighted cross. If he can be as successful playing within his abilities for us, I will be very pleased.

Someone on his official site has said they are not sure how serious it is as yet but it looked like a re-occurring injury
