Really sad news and LFC legend .

I had the misfortune once of incurring his wrath back in the 90s . I was crossing the road at the top of Muirhead Avenue and wasn't really looking where I was going ...Mr Moran slammed on the brakes of his car to avoid hitting me !! He wound down the window and gave me what for ....I was fucking made up !!! I ran home to tell everyone I'd nearly been hit by Ronnie Morans car !!!

An instrumental figure in the Boot Room that was key to sustaining Liverpool's success in the 70s and 80s.

Not afraid to pull up any of the big players if he felt they were falling short of the standards expected of them. A loyal servant of Liverpool Football Club who'll never be forgotten.
