Could of done with him this season at times imo but can't blame him for wanting more game time.

Would have given us more depth. Coleman is a definite weak-link hope we target him in the Derby.

Ireland have been wound up by Keane and O Neil. McLean and Ward don't need any encouragement to play right on the edge mind.

Jon Walters is a c*nt. He dives like a "Latin" player, but has none of the redeeming features.

Sort of agree, except he's far too good for Stoke. In fact he's one of those players who shines brightest when surrounded by exceptional players. Should have kept him.

But isn't that the whole regurgitated point, Liverpool would have liked to. He didn't want to stay at Liverpool. Such is life.

My point is that Klopp couldn't offer him enough game time, because he was being fair and honest.

Which is something other less scrupulous managers don't have a problem with. I also believe Klopp's assessment of Joe was based on a period where Joe was below par.

well why didn't you say that then ;)

Allen wouldn't have played any more this season, less with us not being in Europe. The only times he'd have started in the league was any time we where forced to play Can and Henderson in the same starting 11. He'd not be getting in very often ahead of Lallana or Gini unless they where struggling.

Allen played his best football for Liverpool under Jürgen Klopp, which is kinda damning I guess of his time under Rodgers here, so he was working with what he had I guess! He clearly liked him and appreciated how he played though, so I'm sure he saw enough which is why he would have been happy if he'd still got him here.

Can't agree. It's being played at a pace, in fact, that's largely beyond the technical capabilities of most of the participants.

Intentional elbow from Whelan.

Wales have much better technicians but they've not really done enough considering how much they've dominated the ball.

Whelan is a committed player at all times. It's the only reason he can play at a level beyond his capabilities.

Add Roy Keane and Martin O'Neill's wind up routine and you get the sort of stuff you've witnessed.

When your FA appoint two people to manage your International team who's success, style, methodology and mantra are steeped, and stuck, in the 80s, don't be surprised at the result.
