Very disturbing how Trump hurls an accusation, then demands an investigation to find evidence to support the accusation. Like the 4th Doctor says, he's twisting the facts to fit his views, not altering his views to meet the facts. The guy is either ignoring his intelligence briefings in favour of FOX and Breitbart, or is paranoid enough to believe his briefings are bogus and not to be trusted. It's no wonder they may be restricting some of his intel if they're worried he's going to blurt out national security shit via twitter.
It's also really interesting at how all these Trumpers initially deny ANY contact with Russian officials, then mumble a bit about it, and then it's all, "Oh yeah, I kind of forgot to mention...", or "I didn't think it was relevant...", or "Well we did meet, but didn't talk about anything specific; certainly not campaign stuff. Actually I don't remember what we talked about at all..."
It wouldn't surprise me at all if all the contacts from Trump's side turned out to be utterly naive and innocent, but they didn't like to say anything in case some of their hard core rabid fan base didn't like the idea of them talking to the "reds", or they feared a bashing during the presidential debates.
That's how Trump works - keep a lid on the shit until the prize is won, then bugger off and count the money. Except you don't walk away from the office of POTUS and now he has to 'fess up 'cause it was always going to come out sooner or later.
