Two away games which are not televised; Middlesbrough Wed 14th DEC 7.45 & Sunderland Away Mon 2nd Jan 7.45. Winter and midweek but with the team doing very well can see these selling out on high credits.

Sunderland is showing as a 3 p.m. kick-off on their website and also on the BBC's website; and that makes sense because New Year's Day is on a Sunday so the official Bank Holiday will be the next day. There are three other Premier League matches starting at 3 p.m. on the 2nd of January. The changed kick-offs on that date are Middlesbrough v Leicester (12.30) and West Ham United v Manchester United (17.15).

Says 7.45pm on the official.

Says 3 p.m. on Sunderland's website and 3 p.m. on the BBC's fixtures page.

Happy to offer a lift if anyone's stuck travelling from Welwyn/Hatfield/Stevenage area but it's only one way and I'll be leaving very early.

Advantages/disadvantages of the fixture being moved from Boxing Day? For context, I'm an ignorant yank attending the match with me lady and her dad.

Two away games which are not televised; Middlesbrough Wed 14th DEC 7.45 & Sunderland Away Mon 2nd Jan 7.45. Winter and midweek but with the team doing very well can see these selling out on high credits.

Hoping for some spares for Sunderland, it's my birthday that day so hoping to go. Wanting to book train and hotel now though as it'd be so cheap, just can't gurantee on picking up spares!

Also showing as a 3:00 KO on the premier league website so I think it's safe to assume the 7:45 is a mistake.

It was a mistake on the official site but they fixed it last Friday so it is now showing correctly.

Presumably because Everton are at home on the Saturday and, due to the home/away swap with Burnley, we're home on the same weekend. Nice for train tickets ;D

I can remember going to Newcastle on new year's day in 2003 and there being no public transport. I suspect you've got it got it mixed up with boxing day.
