MOTM last night for me, was solid in defence and made some good runs.

I can't remember Depay having much of the ball against him.

Improving every week, also think Flanno coming back might give him more motivation and also a timely rest now and again.

MotM for me also. Usual solid defensive work, but this time I thought we saw something a bit extra in possession from him. Some great first time passes and general build up play down the right.

Clyne is the best value buy we have done in a long time! Absolute rock solid performance in pretty much all the games hes played for us.

Plus he has won us 2 pens and scored 1 goal so far, right?

Best RB in the league.

Great signing.

Most consistent player this season. Even during the handful of games under Rodgers he never let us down. Really good athlete, dependable with a brilliant attitude.

Been our best player by far this season gone completely under the radar by the press. Yet to see him have a really bad game.

You can just rely on Clyne, he doesnt let you down. We could do with a few more players like that.

Love the bones of this lad, but he's starting to look a little jaded and leggy. All going well, get through Thursday and I'd give him a week off.

He could do with a quiet summer an'all but he'll probably end up playing every game for that shower a'shite in the summer.

Should be up there with the POTY candidates, been 7/10 in almost every game he's played.

He has been very very good to be fair to him. If there's any criticism I have of him is his final ball into the box and his general delivery. Fails to get the head up sometimes. This will likely improve under Kopp.

He has the talent to up it a level.

He's marvellous. Love the fact that we can just put his name down and forget about everything else. He just does his job always. He's a proper 8/10 player every game.

Reminds me of Steve Finnan, in the sense that you can always depend on him to be solid no matter what.

He's much better though. Steve Finnan was a 6.5/10 player. Clyne is closer to being an 8/10 player IMO.

dont want to compare them and wont.

each got their own merits.

I didnt expect him to be so consistent. I thought we were getting a full back in the mould of ashley cole as in attack at all cost. But I have been proven wrong. He balances his defensive and attacking responsibilities equally well. Solid and hardly gets beaten one on one.  With Milner ahead of him, our right side is pretty solid and teams know that. Also noticed how opponents will prefer to attack down our left where moreno is a bit weaker defensively coutinho not as able defensively as Milner.

Definitely one of my contenders for Player of the season.

And i hope im not jinxed it, anyone remembers when he was last injured? Even when he is not playing, he seems to be rotated and not injured.

Reminds me of Arbeloa in his consitency, could also see fans eventually saying we need to upgrade cause he doesn't do enough offensively but I don't think there are many better RBs than him.

Steve was better than you give him credit for. Clyne is the better athlete, is faster, and is more dangerous in terms of shooting. Defensively Steve never put a foot in wrong, hardly anyone made a mug out out of him. He was better in the air as well than Clyne, who has a habitt of being beaten to the ball in the air in the box.

Some good links to Finnan and Arbeloa. Reminds me somewhat of Heggem, good player, good pace, great engine, decent pass and cross, good at most aspects of the game, yet sometimes caught out of position. The only thing that kep Hellgem from being a great was his injury history.
It’s easy to believe when it’s going well.

Think he's had on bad game out of the 50 he's played so far. He is a proper 7-8/10 player consistently.

He's incredibly consistent, always puts a shift in, always performs, never gets overwhelmed by any situation. One of the best signings we've made at the back in a long time.
