Carlisle should sell the whole of the lower Anny Rd so I would be surprised if this is anything less than 40k.

Carlisle have asked for the maximum possible allocation.  Boro and Notts county were given 2800 but they're hoping for 4500-6000.  Should hopefully be a 40k+ crowd if they're given that allocation.

Boro and Notts County didn't want any more than that. If they wanted more they would have got them.

We only HAVE TO give Carlisle around 4500, but no reason to not give them 6000.

Lower anny holds 6391 so that's about 650 short. Seems a lot for segregation considering there's no history between the two, unless of course carlisle have kept those extra 650 for players, directors, sponsors etc

There will be empty seats at the front of the Anfield Road and segregation between the Lower Anfield Road and Lower Cents.

The demand will be there for carlisle. Liverpool won't sell all their tickets so might as well give them more, more revenue for both clubs.

Anyone know when the tickets will go on sale?

I wouldn't say there's no history between us, in fact the last time we played them it got quite nasty outside the ground, although that was some time ago so I doubt many will remember.

It's possible that we're not giving them the restricted view tickets.  I also remember a few cup matches (Birmingham and Arsenal), where for some reason we gave them half the lower tier and half the upper tier.  We could give them the hospitality seats in Upper Annie as I doubt anybody would be wanting them.

Mike, They have said "Family Areas are located in the Upper Anfield Road Stand Areas 221-224 only unless otherwise advertised and must be purchased as adult/junior combined tickets". But the club hasn't released full selling details yet apart from those who are in the Auto Cup Scheme. So you might be able to book tickets elsewhere once we know exactly what "unless otherwise advertised" means.

I know for the last few seasons I've been able to get junior tickets in most areas of the ground for fa/league cup matches.  We tend to go in the kop for cup matches.

EDIT Stephen beat me to it  ;D

United confirm Liverpool sell-out

Last updated at 16:47, Wednesday, 09 September 2015

Carlisle United have confirmed that all 5,744 tickets available for their Capital One Cup third round tie at Liverpool have now sold out.

Carlisle United badge

The club also said that Premier League giants Liverpool had not been able to facilitate a request for extra tickets to be made available to United supporters.

And it has now been confirmed that the tickets would not even make it to general sale, when they were due to on Thursday.
Over a third of the tickets were snapped up on the first day they went on sale, it was announced earlier this week
