that said when we are in the 92minute of injury time and you are kicking it in to touch, please make sure the 'touch' you are aiming for is nearer their corner flag, please, thankyou.

Excellent on crosses and in commanding the box, plus a good save on Capoue. Almost fell for a Gary Mac on that long shot by Janmaat but recovered well.

His kicking during the last few minutes, on the other hand...

Maybe not the flashiest but definitely one of his most commanding performances thus far in a Liverpool shirt.
I've been screaming for a new 1st GK even after his form turned a corner, but fuck me he almost has me convinced now...
Really thought Martin Kelly would make it.

No, they weren't any better (don't know if "shanked clearances" is kept as a stat, but I have the feeling we'd lead the league by a mile). Honestly though, two goal kicks and a free kick going straight into touch over a few minutes is a bit much.

Gotta give credit where it's due, he's been superb in recent weeks. It's hard - how much of this is a boon in form and how much is genuine improvement from him? But you can't take anything away from the way he's performed lately. Been huge for us, and has rescued us plenty of times when we haven't been playing at our fluent best, and I'm not sure you can ask much more.

Thought the big fella played well again tonight, relaxed to see him come for crosses and command his box.
I got onto him berating himself when he shanked a goal kick wide, plus one or two towards the end were a bit wayward, but you can really see a huge improvement in him.

Another brilliant performance.

It's taken him a while but it looks like he finally figured out dealing with crosses. This has to be the standard now, he's shown he can do it, there's no reason anymore for any kind of confusion between him and CBs when it comes to air battles.

It's been said but one more voice can't hurt: outstanding tonight with the command of his area, some good saves, sounded loud on TV and since Hull away he's not really done anything badly.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.

Mignolet has been incredible in the last two months.

Particularly considering the big teams we have played recently.

Finally showing what good two keepers competing with each other can can do.

Hopefully he can continue this trajectory into next season too.

Despite the referee giving him no help whatsoever, whenever their forwards clattered into him without getting near the ball, he was continually positive and assertive.

Brilliant 'keeping.

Deeney trying to push Matip into him while Mignolet was at full height was absolute twattery. Then compounds it by petulantly tripping him up like a schoolchild.

Seems like a switch has suddenly been flicked in his brain recently, he’s a changed man. Commanding his area, dealing with crosses with a punch or catch and making the odd great save. He really eased some of the pressure being built up with that performance.

You could hear his shouts, great hands.

Been outstanding since getting back in the team.  His distribution is always going to be a bit ropey but his command of the area has improved tenfold over the past 6 months and he looks a confident, capable keeper.  Great stuff.

Been pretty good all season really (though particularly good in last two months). Only the odd blip really this year, and the worst GK performances this season have all been by Loris Karius who took Mignolet's place for no reason other than he was fit again. Migs doesn't have the confidence of the crowd though, so it's an awful long road back for him.
