I had him at 66s... paid for helf the trip over there to watch the tourney, that did!

Yeah but I spunked a whole fiver on him. I know, when I move, the markets move too.

Yeah but I spunked a whole fiver on him. I know, when I move, the markets move too.

A quick ten at 66s was too tempting to turn down, especially as the Czechs were playing some superb stuff around that time and never really bothered about defending much.

I told my Dad to get on it but he didn't... wasn't too pleased when I called him from Portugal after the semis!
I don't have to sell my soul... he's already in me.

Momo looks a bit 'large' in that picture. Wish him well at PSG, good lad and unlucky for us, his form seemed to plummet around the time he had that head injury.

The talent we wasted for Paul 'Fucking' Konchesky, just scored for Dundee United.

Think he bagged 25 for Sheff Wed last season?
Thought it was more. Could do 20+ this season I reckon.

Was always a big Babel fan and thought he should have played more under every manager, the passion he shows when he scores is special - remember a tap in two yards out at St James, he went mental.
People still underrate Cristiano Ronaldo.

But in the Champions League 2008 season is a close second, where he made that run against Arsenal to get the penalty and then later sealed it off with a goal of his own.

Ryan Babel's goal today

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9UtA26iwrE

Thanks for that link.

He also managed to sky a chance at an open goal but he looks happier there.  Good on him.

I loved his chipped assist for Gerrard's brace and our third home to Real Madrid.
Forza Viola!
Sitting in my car near anfield I've just had an amazing idea. Why not get behind the team?

Torres cored for the second time in his league career.

If that goal had given Torres a 100x times more confidence, then that 6 yard miss made him lose his confidence a 1000x.

Wish we'd kept both Torres and Babel. Former still world class and showed it today bar that shocking miss. Babel is a confidence player and would do well, just aswell as Henderson and Adam and maybe even Carrol who also seem like confidence players... Definitely has more to his game, always liked him, pace, power, and a brilliant shot.

They have to buy him if he plays 25 games this season don't they?

Apparently. It's clear he's not in Kenny's plans (unfortunately from my pint of view) so the quicker we let him go, the better. Plus, like most ex players, I wish him all the best.

Aye, hopefully he gets to 25 games, best all round.

Dossena is playing well tonight actually, whilst on the subject of Napoli-Milan.

thought torres was class against the mancs in the second half and is likely to start hitting top form soon, even with his miss. quite happy for him...
