Dont think we need as much as you think, only a few more players, not too much.
Hmmm I don't know mate. Our starting 11 is fantastic but going into a 50-60 game season with this squad would be suicide. Ayre has just come out and said we'll probably see a very different squad next season than this and I can see the logic in that thinking. We'll be found out for lack of depth if we're playing an extra 15-20 games next year.
I'm normally a big fan of cohesion and not making too many changes to a squad but when you're playing that many extra games I think it's a necessity. As long as we keep the same key players and the same spine to the team I don't think it'll disrupt things too much.
Transfer window thread hasn't opened yet and some absurd suggestions by you anyway
We can think absurdly if we go into next season as league champions, with one of the youngest squads in the league, and a manager who has turned every young player with potential to gold. We play some of the most exciting football in Europe, and our atmosphere is slowly being restored to its once grand self. With those famous European nights coming back to Anfield everyone is going to want to play for us. FSG have money to spend, they've shown that with the Red Sox. I honestly believe we will be making some big statements of intent this summer.
Edit: Also I'm not saying we'll go out and sign all those players. It would be madness to suggest I could predict every one of our signings. Might as well put the lottery numbers up while I'm at it. The first part is me simply identifying the weakest areas in the squad and the second I'm just saying that some of these players would be a good option to approach, they are the standard of players we should be aiming for, and they would work well in our current squad, but they are by no means the only options out there.
