Bournemouth Vs Liverpool FC (FA Cup 4th Rd)
« on: January 5, 2014, 06:07:35 pm »
So on to Round 4 we march :scarf

Does anyone know what the allocations will likely be and what pre requisites will be required for this? Wouldn't mind a road trip to Bournemouth if I'm honest!

We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

General ground guide shows Bournemouth can allocate 2000 seats, and Burton can allocate 1400 on a terrace and an additional 400 seats.

Is that similar allocation to the Oldham away last season (assuming its Bournemouth)?

We got 2700 for Oldham so quite a few less. Reckon tickets will be hard to come by for this one regardless of who wins

They can always switch it to Anfield  :evil

Be interesting to see what qualifying criteria they decide to use for this given possible size of allocation, but suspect it may be all those who went to  Mansfield Town & Oldham from last season for initial first sale & then those who went to Oldham ?

And there could be a replay after that, which would be on 4th round day.

Does that mean we could possibly have Bournemouth away mid-week?

It does.

Some of my early memory's even tho I wasn't at the games was the 92 cup season and playing Crewe Monday night, then Bristol rovers again under the lights, Pompey in the semi replay. Mid week FA cup tie seems to have a different vibe to it.

If we get Bournemouth there are no trains that weekend running into Bournmouth so it will mean buses from Southampton

When do they have their replay/first game (whichever it is!)?

Providing this match does go ahead, at least it will give us the maximum amount of time to prepare for the derby.
Quote from: Harvest Fields
i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

If Bournemouth beat Burton, a 12.45pm kick-off in Bournemouth means an early start for travelling reds.   It's probably about 4 and-a-half to 5 hours drive from Liverpool.

Does anyone remember or know if away credits in the F.A.Cup get you further up the pecking order should we get to a Wembley appearance in the semi for example?

Wont go to zero, probably need both Mansfield and Oldham for first sale then either of those in 2nd sale, depending on what we get Luton might raise its ugly head again.
