The club have the power and recourses, to trace any ticket back to source.

The question is, do they want to?   Or are they scared of what they'll find, and where the tickets come from?
Do go on...?

Huge game in the title race, half of me can't wait and the other half wants it to be over already. Anything that keeps it in our own hands will be seen as a good result, so we are effectively looking to avoid defeat - the fact that the draw suits us more so than you makes me personally feel a little more relaxed (for now), as it gives us some margin for error right from the off. (e.g. we can go 1-0 down and still be in reachable distance of a good result).

I expect you'll see us line up Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Yaya, Silva, Nasri, Navas, Aguero. He definitely won't be going 4-4-2 so the only change I think you could see to that is Navas or Nasri out for Garcia, who will slot alongside Fernandinho and Yaya will be pushed into the CAM role, but it's more likely this will be a change during the game as legs get tired and the time comes to unleash Yaya.

I'm going to predict a draw, on the basis that I'm too pessimistic for a win and we have been very solid lately (only losing 1 league game in the last 22 to Chelsea). Having said that, you are the in form side and I can definitely see us getting beat (I just can't predict it) ;D Our record isn't the best at Anfield and you'll explode out of the blocks with the atmosphere (I think we'll have to ride the storm a bit early on and try and let the game settle). Both sides are capable of scoring plenty, as well as making defensive howlers - it's a recipe for chaos, or a boring 0-0. Our house is half and half so there is added tension this time around.

I disagree with those saying the title won't be won or lost in this game. If we lose I can't see you letting anything get in your way (and Chelsea have a CL semi to worry about either side of your game), and if we get a favourable result then 4/6 of our games are left at home and we can afford another draw (minimum) away as I think our GD will edge away slightly if we are to win our games in hand. So I think the title can very much be won or lost this weekend.

Not the best source in the world, but fantasy football page reckons Yaya might be a doubt for them. Ageuro also a doubt, but he's been back in training for a week so I would imagine he is ready.

Would be massive if Yaya was out

Silva has been carrying an ankle injury apparently.

I said jokingly to my mate before the Fulham game in the eight bells, if Liverpool win the league, I get my 2:1 and I get with this girl I like, I'll strip naked and backflip through the street.

I might just well have to do it.

If we win on Sunday, I better start practicing my back flips.

A draw and it's certainly not 'over' considering, if I'm not mistaken, City have to go to both Selhurst and Goodison.

Biggest game of the year & I hope we absolutely come out of the fucking blocks roaring at them, so important to put them on the back foot early & I have no doubt our attack can do absolutely that. Fuck off with your oil clubs, we can do this, win this & the title is certainly in our hands, 5 more cup finals, come on you fucking red men, Sunday cant come quicker!

It is hard to pass days between games when you are in the title chase. Time elapses so slowly. It is bloody sad.

Add me to the sad list, my weeks now consist of countdowns to the games. :D
I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close

Finished work yesterday, packing and dropping kids off at grandparents today, packing my own gear tomorrow, drive up to Scotland Saturday.

Need to keep busy.

I fucking hate having to wait a week.

Oh, and can we have a nice 3 goal cushion please, hate having to have a shower imediately after the game.
I'm watching, not playing.

13mins - Bournemouth have gone home. Utd kicked off anyway. Still 0-0 as Smalling passes it back to De Gea.

Need to get at these early and try to score 1 or 2 goals then hopefully seal with game with a couple on the counter. The longer the game stays at 0-0 the more confidence City will get and will begin to impose themselves on the game which we don't want because as fantastic a side as we are, they are also a quality side with quality players.

Hopeful/Confident of a Liverpool win. Can't wait for Sunday

If you got to the football page on the BBC sport web page and then navigate to tables, you'll find the league table. Alongside this table is a form guide made up of coloured symbols. Red for loss, grey for draw, green for win. There are ten of these symbols representing each team's form over the last ten games.  I want to come to work on Monday morning and see that last peskey grey symbol gone and replaced with a shiny new green one (*).

(*) Yes I appreciate it won't really be replace. That Villa draw is still a draw, but i want a full house of greens!

I've been looking at that too and it's annoying!! 1 more home win and away win to get them all greens  8)

These games are affecting my work. Mondays are a write off and thurs onwards my minds on the game. Love it.

Hope we get the better of them Sunday. We'll be up for it but so will they so regardless of how they looked against the saints I expect them to come out blazing and expect everyone on the pitch being up for it.

Hope they do a spurs though

And scousers are twats.

Would be my guess.

Don't bother. Almost no proper views or thoughts on the game, mostly posters spouting shite and the common misconceptions about Scousers/LFC fans over and over again.

Therefore we will win. Thank me later folks.

How much money would be adequate compensation for not winning this game?

Anyone else feel Luis might be overdue to score a worldie, and that if there was any match he'd save it for, it'd be this one...?
