Happy but a little worried.

If things dont work out will the fans turn on him?
Wake up, will ya pal? If you're not inside, you're outside, OK? And I'm not talking a $400,000 a year working Wall Street stiff flying first class and being comfortable, I'm talking about liquid. Totally worried.

That said I would be totally delighted if Kenny could turn this situation around and stablize things, it is a long time since he worked with players on a day to day basis and will need the support of the coaching staff. Presume much will fall on Sammy's shoulders in the short term but think he will need to bring someone in who has been involved more recently to support him/ Sammy.

Worried. Very worried. He's been out of the game for a long time now. He has also never tried a 4231, which would appear to be the best formation for the players at hand. Its a bit of a gamble when you consider how poor he was at Celtic and how his first season in charge was not that great at the club in the beginning. We need someone with an instant impact to ensure we aren't relegated and am worried that he will need time to adjust. I am obviously pleased to see Hodgson gone, but the Dalglish appointment smacks far too much of sentiment to me. It also says a lot about Sammy in second place that he is not even considered for caretaker role. We have an inept Second and a rusty first. Worried. Very worried.
Beatings will continue until morale improves...

For the youngsters here ( i.e anyone under 40!) it goes like this:

" oh-oh! Ke-enny!...oh-oh! Kenny! I'd walk a million miles for one of you smiles ( used to be goals!) ..oh! Ke-enny!!"

btw hes' also prone to play 5 full backs in away games against teams who've just been twatted at home and drop Peter Beardsley!

How do you feel? Unutterably fine.

Did you think you'd ever see the day when Kenny returned? Yep. Since September.

How do you think he'll do? Superbly. He just can't do other here.

Where do you think we'll finish this season? 4th place.

Got the club back is how I feel.

What I expect is to now see the team play with passion and fight in games.
That's the only thing I demand of them and the thing that's meant I've been so dispirited this season.
If the fight and lose tomorrow I'd rather that than go and lie-down for the fuckers.

My expectations under Dalglish will be set by our attitude tomorrow, not by the result.

I reckon 6th place would be a good finish from here.

Don't care about tomorrow at all...maybe too early to get a win, possibly a draw but don't care. The clown is out and we should see good football again (it will take a while) bollocks to the people who say we have crap players....bullshit. Best striker in the world. Still one of the best midfielders, one of the best keepers.....on the way up. EVERYONE gets a lift and Anfield will rock again :)

Controversial: Has Kenny got it in him? Did he just not inherit one of the greatest football teams in the world back in the 80's? Been out of football management for a long time. Last two jobs didn't go down well.

Just some of my concerns.

So, he's back. I can barely type this as I'm in fucking heaven right now, and my hands are shaking.

How do you feel?
Did you think you'd ever see the day when Kenny returned?
How do you think he'll do?
Where do you think we'll finish this season?

One thing's for sure, the feelgood factor is about to go through the fucking roof. The passion will be back! The ground will be bouncing! And whatever happens for the rest of the season, the club is united once more!!

Get the fuck in!!

How do i Feel......Emotional at the great man's return, nervous and full of anticipation at the same moment.

Did i ever think I'd see the day Kenny returned........No!

How do i think he'll do...............I have no idea to be honest BUT I know he'll give everything to the cause and if it's even half as good as the period up to Hillsborough, it will be fantastic.

Where will we finish this season ...head says in a European place but outside top 4 and if we get past Man U, why not an FA Cup too.  Heart says top 4, FA Cup and Europa League and if it's either of these scenarios Dallglish to be manager for years to come!!!!!!!

Only sad bit of news about Dalglish becoming manager is I'll miss his twitters.....:)

I didn't buy all the 'steadying the ship' in the summer after we appointed Hodgson. I feel that that's the case now. With King Kenny, it should give everyone a lift.

I don't know how well Kenny will do but at least everyone's behind this appointment. Good luck Kenny.

I have been against Kenny coming back because I think it's a sentimental and populist appointment. However, as long as this is just a short term measure, it will hopefully give us a boost until we can bring in a long term manager.
