Gutted none of us (8 in the ballot) got tickets.  Not going to pay silly money to go either, nice boozer in town will have to do.

What is annoying though is a mate of mine who lives in Holland, went to the Man City game, only sodding game he has been to this season and he gets lucky in the Ballot.  Me and all my mates have gone to every game and all of us are 6000+ in the waiting list.

Hope FA cup is different with auto cup!

No, it will be worse!

24,000 allocation wasn't it last year?

Just think if it wasn't for the corporates getting a third of the ticket allocation for Wembley we would all, or at least most would be going, bast*rds. No logic in them getting that amount of tickets since the majority if not all are not Liverpool or Cardiff fans.

That's what really makes my blood boil more than anything, suits without a fucking clue robbing decent fans of opportunities to see THEIR team at a cup final.

A consequence of building an £800 million stadium that only holds a few games a year.
Every corporate penny is needed.

Of course, a lot of those corporate will end up in the ends of actual fans anyway - just at an inflated rate.

didn't get a ticket.  Neither did my mate.  Didn't really expect one despite what folk were saying, getting an away ticket for any of the cups will be nigh on impossible for a couple of seasons now.  i think it might make financial sense to knock domestic cup games on the head for a while.  Just go back to League and Europe.

What should really happen though, is the result of this ballot should be kept.  And if you didn't get a ticket in this ballot, you should get one in the next if you qualify...that would be fairer.

Understand what your saying, but defeats the object of the club paying top dollar to an outside company to do a ballot. They could have just done it themselves. If a similar scenario arises in the future and there is need for a ballot, then that is what they will do. It is a nice sentiment to think they may do as you suggest but unlikely it will happen.  The past also backs up what im saying.

Oh shit Sar, just seen your predicament and this is what you were dreading Last week! Same as us, had three in the ballot and the little fella got drawn out so he needs an adult with him. He's giving his 17 year old brother some right shit atthe mo. I've had to hide the kitchen knives cos the older one is gonna go for him. Fortunately the older one is off to France tomorrow with school but tells me that he's still coming to Wembley without.
Ouch mate, you fully have my sympathy! It's just the worst situation isn't it, choosing between your kids.
Good luck with it, hope no lasting damage is inflicted on you all  :(
To work hard and have our supporters behind us and believing until the end, you run a little bit more.

I was unsuccessful but my mate who didn't go to the City game (I used his card to get a ticket for a mate) applied and fucking got one! Lucky bastard. I was pretty gutted with my place in the waiting list around 1,700 but seeing some people around 7,000 makes me feel a bit better I guess, although I still doubt ill get sorted.

Reckon about 500 or so will probably get them in the waiting list. Gotta remember a lot of tickets have been put aside for junior members to bring an adult and I reckon I good amount of those won't get taken up. Don't see a lot of people going to a CC game, applying in the ballot then deciding they can't/dont want to go to the final. We'll see.

I was considering going but I think it might actually work out better for me to order online. If I go to the office I might miss out on the lower priced tickets, the only ones I can really afford, whereas if I log on online first thing then I've got a better chance, even with the £5.50 special delivery option, of saving meself more cash.
