Why are all the seas salty

And why are all the seas salty with all the fresh water rivers and rain going into them?

Fresh water has trace amounts of salt that is carried to the sea. The water evaporates and goes around the water cycle, but the salt remains in situ.

Was looking back at the away game at Blackburn in 2003. When Baros broke his ankle and Carragher broke his leg.

Have we ever had another game like that, where we were so unlucky injury wise?

Not to mention Markus Babbel's tackle unintentionally broke Baros ankle, and David Thompson intentionally tried to punch Riise. Talk about the ghost of Liverpool past.

Was just wondering, if we have ever had as an unlucky game injury wise?
Did Shevchenko score his rebound?

Cissé broke his leg in the same fixture the following year.

Yeah that was the first that came to mind, but i was thinking in terms of if we have ever had 2 big ones in the same game like that.

Though i admit, i don't remember Carras and or Baros being as severe as Cisse's.

Do primary schools all over the UK have a transfer test, or is it just Northern Ireland?

Some counties with Grammars still offer a Transfer Test, but it is voluntary. If you are in county and achieve a certain grade you are guaranteed a Grammar School place. You cannot get to the Grammar in year 7 without taking the Test. Bucks is one country that still works like that.

Actively look for a new job. Then leave. You need to get out of the work environment you're in, it'll ruin you.

How do you stop from worrying about small things, when you have big issues surrounding you, like cancer in the family etc? How do I change the way I think? How do I stop worrying about something in the house being broken, or even worry about that something MIGHT break?

People near to me, people I love, have REAL issues to deal with and here I am worrying a whole weekend about a drain pipe that needs to be replaced (which we did in an hour yesterday). I'm sick of myself worrying about all the small things that happen, and hasn't even happened.

I imagine the first step is identifying that you do it, or more important when you're doing it.

If you can do that then remind yourself there are people with real problems, and how small and simple the problem you have in comparison and how it will be easily sorted when you get round to it.

It's going to take you taking control of it and making the change.

That's what I'm trying to do, and it helps. Work in progress though, so sometimes I fall back in to bad habits.

Thanks Craig.

Thanks Craig.

Never going to be an immediate fix, might even be something you always have to do, but if you're at least identifying when you're doing it then you're most of the way there.

Have met plenty of people who don't even know they are doing it, and will make out their life is the worst ever due to ridiculous things. Once listened to someone complain to someone who was seriously ill how their life was hell due to some broken electrics in their house!!

Getting a couple of quotes in for painting my Georgian style windows. They will probably need sanding, undercoating, priming and then top-coating. They look something like this:

How much would a painter/handyman tend to charge for a day rate? I'm based in Manchester.

Without sounding like i'm selling something, but i had the same problem this helped me.

There's a meditation app called headspace, that made me realise that my thoughts aren't you and they are separate from you. Using it everyday helped.

But this 2 minute video put it into perspective

https://youtu.be/7xAeJKgupPI

And yes, it's perfectly normal to worry about little things when big things are happening, as your mind is in a mode where it'll find anything to worry about.

Not your fault, don't beat yourself up, it's how the human mind is.

If you have a Nowtv box apparently you can download the sky box office app and the fight will be available to buy 48 hours beforehand.

I don't think there's a grammar issue given that you're just using a different verb. It's probably a stylistic (and I would guess a North American/British English) thing.

Personally I would always give or offer my opinion.
