Should go into this with a good bit of confidence off the back of 2 wins. Not sure how I'd like to see us line up, particularly as Im not sure will Raul be available after tonight.

Think we'll win narrowly, Bolton can be very dangerous and we'll have to be on top of our game.

Hopefully a certain Mr.Coates will be in the stands watching his first game at Anfield too.

Bolton is quite a good side under Coyle. I would go with the following team. Surprise, surprise, no Andy Carroll. I’m still not convinced that his style of play suits our pass and move setup. The reason why we were so successful under Kenny last season is due to our movement off the ball when attacking. Suarez and Kuyt can interchange with each other, supported by the midfielders. Somehow with Carroll in the team, our movement is not that smooth flowing. Kenny and his coaching team should work on blending Carroll into the team without compromising our style, not the other way round. Carroll’s finishing is good but his movement, positioning and game intelligence still need improvement. At the moment, we need another backup striker regardless whether N’gog goes or stays.

Home game against Sunderland was televised on my tele, is this the first they are showing in the UK ?

Like the line up though.

Enrique and Downing have been great on the left so far this season, and with Kelly bombing forward on the right
we will give Bolton plenty of problems.
Carrol should do a decent job up against Cahill, and Suarez will get a couple.
Would be nice to see Adam get a goal to help him settle in, and Downing should get on the score sheet soon.

I think we can be really positive about this game and we should edge Bolton out with our better quality.

I also think this will be the game that sees Andy bag a goal or two in the league. Unless Bolton have seriously worked on their marking from crosses, Andy could have a field day. I think the Downing / Carroll combo could get a goal, Suarez will get a goal, and Andy will score from an Adam free kick. Not sure Bolton will score. 3-0 for me. A good solid home win and another marker going into some tough games.

This I like. Hendo in midfield. Maxi to sub on for Carrol @ 60mins. Suarez to move upfront. Spearing to sub for Adam @ 70mins. Kuyt for Downing @ 80mins.

I could see Carroll being rested(on the bench) for this game.

Not based on performance but because the plan obviously wasn't for him to play 70mins against Exeter so Raul's injury forcing him to come on may change Kenny's plans. A fresher Kuyt up front with Suarez after another 60mins in the tank last night might be the way to go.

Start of a tough run of games this one. After these lot not including Wolves at home we've got Stoke, Spuds and Everton away and the Mancs at home.

Won't be an easy game this one, fancy Bolton to do well this year and I think Coyle is a top manager. That said we're at home and coming of the back of two victories, team knows each other better every game. The only change from the Arsenal game I would make would be to bring Mr Luis Suarez back into the fold. Tight game with us prevailing 2-1.

Usual back four, Suarez and Kuyt up front, Downing and Maxi wide, Lucas and Adam in the middle. Will be a tough game, but if we can get our tempo high from the off, then I think we could overwhelm them. Suarez, as is usually the case, will be the key.

Bolton are a nice side but I think we are more solid than Man City. Think we will win...our defence need to keep their concentration and if they do we should hold out against Davies/Klasnic/Tuncay and their dangerman is Petrov but we have plenty of pace in the full back position to deal with him.

I highly doubt Carroll will be rested. This is exactly the sort of game we got him for. In fact I fancy him to score.
Think Hendo will be rested after midweek.
Why are people panicking because Suarez played yesterday? He only played for an hour. Add that to the 20 mins or so he played on Saturday lunchtime and thats still less than 90 minutes in the last week....
