Excellent information in there Roy. Had to keep pinching myself reading it as i remembered some of  the tripe they had spouted. Fantastic work mate, very well written.

Stunning work Roy yet again. I'm certain it's what you intended, but I experienced pretty much every emotion reading that, predominantly hurt and anger though. people need to take time to read and digest this. If they still can't be bothered joining in with the protests and haven't got the stomach for the fight, they are most definitely on the wrong website.

The sheer dedication and hard work of you, Fatty and  the SoS lads amongst the many others on here should bestow you with honorary RAWK knighthoods. It makes me proud to be A red and proud to be a RAWKite. You'd get my nomination big man  ;) :wellin

Epic. Thanks Roy
If my assistant had not signalled a goal, I would have given a penalty and sent off goalkeeper Patr Cheh. he beeped me to signal the foul. The noise from the crowd  stopped me hearing it, I have been involved at places like Barcelona, Ibrox, Old Trafford, Arsenal, but I've never in my life been involved in such an atmosphere. IT WAS INCREDIBLE

The world's second most expensive drawing is infact a Raphael (£29m). Ah, Rafa.

Great work on this Roy, what a shame none of our national papers are interested in doing anything as in-depth and hard-hitting as this. Any chance it could be emailed to anyone on our side? Brian Reade, Tony Evans, someone like that?

That is just it, the so called press were far more concerned about feeding us what a total buffoon Rafa was and cecils bullshit, that they allowed what should be a massive story of how two people have totally fucked over one of the greatest sporting institutions in the world.
Would the Spanish or Italian press allow this shit go unreported if it was happening to Barca or Milan? I know the British press are a disgrace but do they need to prove it quite so often?
Are they allowed to say they've spent the money on anything they like in the accounts or if it was proved that 40 million had been spent on hot dogs instead, would that be fraud?  Or is it a case of as long as they payed their tax, they can say they spent it on what ever they like.

I know it shouldn't but seeing Hicks name above the likes of Van Gogh and Monet made me giggle.

Agree with everyone. Great work by the OP. Must have been quite tedious and hard compiling that up.

They're all paintings. The most expensive drawing is Raphael's Head of a Muse, £29m ($48m).

I reckon you could remove "in the eyes of Liverpool fans" from the OP, Roy. It is the world's most expensive drawing.

I like the comparison to the prices for those famous paintings. Should be simple enough even for the English press to pick up on once the World Cup is over.

Good work!

...George Gillett (with the Montreal Canadiens) had seen their teams win the Stanley Cup – we were reminded that this was the equivalent of Ice Skating’s Champions League.

Not sure you need to belittle the sport of Ice Hockey by comparing it with Ice Skating.

Ink? I thought it was all done in oil. Not even painters can do the basics right these days.
