4 of us Heathrow to Stuttgart early Thu morning, train to Augsburg, 1 night in the Holiday Inn Express...and the reverse late Friday afternoon/night.

Can't wait  ;D

 :hally

Is anyone on here travelling from Stuttgart Airport to Augsburg at around 1100 on match day? Need a couple more to be able to get train tickets just for €9 each!

We're staying in Munich Tuesday - Friday. Flying in to Stuttgart. Looks like trains run back to Munich until midnight so shouldn't be too much stress

I've booked 2 nights in munich but if the game finishes at 11 then I think that's gunna be too late to make the last train back, ground is 3 miles away from station and with potential hold backs I don't think it's enough

We (two of us) are staying in Stuttgart Wednesday night so might be able to do that with you, although I've heard you get free rail tickets with your flight but haven't looked into that yet.

5 of us arrive in Stuttgart from Birmingham at 10.00. Is 6 the number needed to get a discount?

Yes 6 is the minimum that is required for the group discount, let me know what you decide to do.

That is what I saw too mate.

We're flying Manchester - Munich with Singapore airlines, Wednesday to Friday. Doing a tour of Allianz Wednesday day, then getting steaming until the early hours. Head off to Augsburg on the train on Thursday afternoon (which is free when you fly with Singapore airlines, plus others), then 11.55 train back - If we don't make it, our mate is driving so will hop in with him back to Munich.

We went a few months ago for Octoberfest and a group of us stayed in a row of hotels alongside the station on Arnulfstrabe. We found them a great location for getting round the bars in Munich and also has the added benefit of being next to the station so you can get to the airport and Augsburg easily. There is also an airport bus right outside the hotels or you can get the train which is slightly quicker. I would have a look on expedia etc and just grab whichever hotel is best value.

Watching Augsburg's cup game tonight it looked like the away end was caged off so the capacity for the away section looks fairly set.

You won't get them through the club, you'll have to rely on spares
