Find it appauling that they haven't included Members with 1 in the further sale. I'm lucky enough to have a ST now (albeit not in my name and I still have a membership that I use for the cup games to keep my credits up as I won't have that ST forever). I know how hard it is building up them credits, so to not be included is a huge kick in the balls, to put it bluntly for those who aren't lucky enough to be able to afford Hospitality or have a season ticket. I understand that the response would be "you should have gone to the other games", but it's expensive enough going to just the home games (most expensive european home tickets in the UK someone mentioned elsewhere), not everyone can do 3 european trips in a small period of time.

Rant over! (For the time being).

Did you just buy Udinese for the credit?

Anyone that did that and is kicking off they dont qualify for this sale... well. It's only fair they do it at least 2, then drop it down to 1. You do say that, but it becomes very convenient that thousands more can suddenly afford the 3 aways now but didnt bat an eyelid at going in the Europa.

To be honest I agree.

Why should somebody who only went to Udinese on a Season Ticket have Priority over me who went on a Members Card. Just because their fucking dad passed down their season ticket to them or they were lucky enough to get one when they got released.

In case anyone asks why I only went to one; I was a Student in 2012 and could only afford one in the groups saving for when we got through into the next round. Now im 2 years in work on a graduate salary so can get to 2/3 in the group stages.

Think it's a well known fact that pretty much every club puts ST holders before members, some clubs don't even let members have a look in on away games. Doesn't matter if its PL or league 2, to some people it'll be fair and to some people it won't. But it's how it works... just wait and see if it drops.

This is why i've refused for years to not give them more money and buy a Membership. But if Ludogorets at home goes on sale to all Members tomorrow im finally biting the bullet and giving in - im not letting every man and his dog with a shiny membership card have access over tickets than me who's been on the euro ladder pre 2005 through a fancard.

If you've been on the ladder since pre 2005 surely you'd of already had a chance to buy a ticket?

Trains are generally pricy as fuck in Switzerland. Might want to try and get a 1/2price one and play the "no comprendo" card. You can get tham at every ticket vending machine.

How many are you and when are you getting to zurich?

Me on my own, Zurich airport at 09:30

I think we had a thread on this before, but i have since been informed there are a few tips on here, so will take a peak.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, pricy as fxxx seems to be consistent in Switzerland, but we will still try to do it cheaper and have a great time.

Who said it was Udinese? Although, yes it was! I went, spent the best part of my months wages (part time) to go there and missed a few days of uni for it. I again can't afford all 3 this time, plus I can't get the time off work, although I agree with your point on the amount of new european away fans we have now we are back in the Champions league. Just to put it out there, the only European Aways I have ever done (barring finals) are in the Uefa cup/europa league...Bucharest for Unirea Urziceni in the non stop rain could have been my first, they all seem to blend together!

My point is that anyone who has been, whether they be hospitality or just a fancard holder, providing they have the credits and they, or somebody else who needed a spare attended, should qualify at the same time. The only time I disagree with this is for domestic finals, when qualifying ST should go on sale a day before others who qualify.

Anyway, back on topic... here is to members with one credit!

By the way, if anyone's still looking for flights, Easyjet from Southend to Geneva Mon-Thurs was a steal at about £50 rtn the other day. Couple of hours on the train to Basel. Didn't even know Southend had an airport, but there ya go. If you're SE based it's an option.

In the end, didn't want 3 nights away or all the travelling to/from airports, so booked Manchester to Zurich with Swiss. Bit of a stinger £230 but not much hassle. Looking forward to this.
