***Congratulations to OHWELOVEYERBALDYHEAD - He is the Cheltenham 2017 RAWK Champion Tipster***

To secure his first title, OWLYBH had to fight off constant challenges from Scouse92, Djibrilliant, AdzLFC, ACLE, BoRed, Wyl and former champ Beefdog. Most of these rivals could have snatched this from him over the last 2 or 3 races.

Safe to say, thanks to Sizing John, OWLYBH has a fat wallet to go with his RAWK Tipster title

The winners virtual Trophy presentation will happen tonight or over the weekend.

This years RAWK Tipster FAIL trophy goes to the player who played all 4 days and scored the lowest total. This years recipient of such a dubious honour is 'Youngest Son of Skittle'. Never mind mate you can get some tips off your auld fella next year. In time honoured tradition the FAIL trophy will be presented to YSOS in this same thread approximately 1 month prior to Cheltenham 2018 to get us all ready and to remind us to prepare for the next festival.

Thanks for playing guys and a really good turnout. If we don't count the Timeform PRO entry, 65 RAWKites completed at least 3 days. Nice one and cheers for not losing interest.

Keep your eye out for the 'RAWK Aintree Tipster Competition' thread which will appear in a couple of weeks. We go again

Haha just catching up with the last few pages! Considering I scored all my points in the first race of the day (NAP winner) I only needed a place in any of the last 6 races to win... just goes to show the absolute minefield racing can be

Can't complain though as I've had a great festival overall and enjoyed this comp alongside it - so thanks for running it Pete! Well done Gary Macca lad

Just a little over 3 weeks until the 2018 Cheltenham Festival, so in time honoured tradition its time to present last years 'Tipster Fail' trophy, which also serves as a thread bump and little reminder that the famous festival and RAWK Tipster comp is on its way again.

So commiserations to 'Youngest Son of Skittle' on his terrible performance in 2017 and enjoy this lovely piece of Silverware
