Was the alleged racism towards Alves from the Madrid crowd actually reported any where?

If it was, why the hell is that not being investigated.

Graham Hunter was on sky sports earlier and he said it was utterly disgraceful, and really loud too (ie not just a handful of idiots).

UEFA make 5 charges against Real, one against Barcelona:
"The case against Real Madrid is in relation to the throwing of missiles, a pitch invasion, the red card shown to [the defender] Pepe, the dismissal of the coach José Mourinho, as well as the inappropriate statement given by Mr Mourinho to the media after the match," Uefa said.
Barcelona's is for the goalie Pinto.
Nothing on the racist chants though.

Err... what?... Mourinho or Wenger aren't the only alternatives - they're extremes of the spectrum. Wenger is not so much principled as suffering from football related OCD. I have no interest in a bunch of powder-puff fannies farting around and getting bullied by "the bigger boys" and I have no interest in a bunch of c*nts who cheat their way through games.

I liked Wenger's pre-2005 teams because they played proper football with a mixture of steel and skill. I've never liked Mourinho's teams because they are... as previously mentioned... a bunch of cheating c*nts. I wouldn't want either at Liverpool. :lmao

Thing is, you've gotten some videos there (like the ferdinand one) but they're examples spread out over decades, and like you said, it's not the whole team surrounding the ref, and Nani did obviously get hit in the mouth even though he exagerated.

Yesterday it all went on. Repeatedly. In one game. It was horrible.

Hard luck Jose, genuinely, I mean that - but we need Barca to do the biz against those horrible, horrible twats down the road.

Twiggthemanc, what about VDS running half the length of the pitch to get involved in the Nani incident even though he'd already been warned about arguing with the officials?

Pepe's was justified though, there was no way Dirk's goal was offside yet VDS tore up the pitch for that.

But he's done it more than once.

Don't expect anything else from VDS or any other keeper really, defending their teammates.

But if Pepe was talked to once, would he run up again in the same match and risk getting booked?

You are joking right? Barca dive on a very regular basis.

Actually they don't, they dont need to to. However, in games like this when they get kicked at every opportunity they take advantage of it, rightly or wrongly.

Seriously though, Barcelona have everything United hate playing against, they just won't be able to do anything to counter Barcelona.

Both are horrible football teams. What an embarassment.
I've tipped Barca from the start and am sticking with them.  As for wanting Man utd or the Germans to lose against Barca or Madrid in the final, nope, not a chance.

Alves bullshit aside (including edited video 8))

In my opinion the foul met this criteria of the ruleset -

Yellow Card

“Reckless” means that the player has acted with complete disregard to the
danger to, or consequences for, his opponent.
• A player who plays in a reckless manner must be cautioned

Playing in a dangerous manner is defined as any action that, while
trying to play the ball
, threatens injury to someone (including the player
himself).

If a player plays in a dangerous manner in a “normal” challenge, the
referee should not take any disciplinary action. If the action is made with
obvious risk of injury, the referee should caution the player.

As opposed to -

Red Card

“Using excessive force” means that the player has far exceeded the necessary
use of force and is in danger of injuring his opponent.
• A player who uses excessive force must be sent off

A player is guilty of serious foul play if he uses excessive force or brutality
against an opponent when challenging for the ball when it is in play.

The challenge was reckless but it didn't involve excessive force or brutality.

Hmm thats interesting, where is that from?

The two clubs reporting each other and whatnot, is getting really embarrassing. What a circus.

On the other hand, what really needs to be looked into, is Busquets calling Marcelo a monkey during the match. What a despicable human being.

I never manage to understand the love in RAWK has with Barcelona.

Every time I watch them play I see them try to get players sent off in the most theatrical of ways. Nearly without fail they won't play a game without crowding the referee multiple times, asking for players to be sent off. They get so many free kicks, penalties and yellow/red cards against their opponents with theatrics and refereeing pressure that it's absolutely disgusting.

They put every other club to shame as far as this goes.

Right now Daniel Alves is probably the most despicable player in world football as far as cheating goes. Those of you who have not noticed what a ridiculously theatrical player he is before now are absolutely blind. Out of a team filled with players who grab their faces when no one touched them and who throw themselves to the ground grabbing their legs when there was no or minimal contact, Daniel Alves is the worst of the worst.

Yet simply because they are Barcelona? Because they send pretty little passes? Because they consistently win and as such are a decent choice for glory hunting and fussy feelings? ... all of this tends to be ignored on RAWK?

I just can not like a team like Barcelona. I can not think of a single powerhouse in European football that tries to fool and pressure the referees as Barcelona. Not a single one that comes even close. The level at which they do this is just so far beyond believe that I can not understand why you overlook it to such a degree.

The only way not to see what a cheating club they are is if you willingly turn a blind eye to it. Yet so many of you choose to. What is even worse, some of you religiously defend their right to cheat. Coming up with cringe worthy reasons as to why they and they alone should be allowed to.

Is them winning so many games doing so much for you guys that you are willing overlook all of this? The only club I give a shit about is Liverpool. I'm happy when Liverpool wins and don't feel a fucking thing when some other club starts doing well. I'm honestly starting to think that some of you just can't fucking wait for us to get back on track again, so you just pick a random club with great players and an awesome record and start being ridiculously biased as far as this new, adopted club of your's goes.

But that's just a fucking hypothesis. I honestly have no idea why you choose to overlook their level of cheating.

The worst of all of the above is the fact that some of you honestly can not even see Daniel Alves as a cheat, even though what he did vs. Real Madrid this week was not even close to his worst. I truly do not understand how some of you can watch dozens of Barcelona matches and not figure Daniel Alves out. But if you can't see Daniel Alves as a cheat, then of course you can not see the rest of the team for what they are, for Daniel Alves is truly the worst of the worst.

The angry nature of my post probably does little to help getting my point through, but this is just something that makes me angry.

But if you can't see Daniel Alves as a cheat, then of course you can not see the rest of the team for what they are, for Daniel Alves is truly the worst of the worst.

The angry nature of my post probably does little to help getting my point through, but this is just something that makes me angry.
I agree to extent to be honest, most of the matches i have watched this season and last season, they have been disgusting.

some of the cheating they do is as bad or worse than the mancs, the only players i like is probably messi to be honest, the rest are a bunch of shit houses that surround the ref after every foul, fall over and roll around from a simple touch etc

but i guess because they play "beautiful football" that any of this CHEATING is just forgotten or ignored.

Barcelona are cheats
They also play exceptional football, and even  when they dont, they win
Messi plays for them
Alves and Xavi, while capable of being c*nts, are incredible attacking talents
Iniesta is fantastic

There's plenty to admire about them

The kits are pretty cool too.

I think what appeals to a lot of Liverpool fans is also the culture of the club, the way they stick two fingers up to "Royal Madrid", the fact every seaso has a piece of the club, they have their own identity and consider themselves a "Catalan" before they consider themselves Spanish.

Personally they should cut out all the fucking daftness as they really don't need to sink to that level and in recent years the way they've carried on courting players and using current players as sirens tempting players is a bit fucking sneaky. But compared to Madrid?

Barca, 101 times out of 100 and thats with my current favourite ex Red plying his trade in All White (and Alvy too who I always liked).

I thought the same until I read about how Franco's dislike of Barcelona FC is a myth and that he never saw Madrid as his favorites/Barcelona FC nothing.

I found this:

Quote
What really annoys me is their smugness and attitude, they portray themselves as moral superiors. They hate Real Madrid for supposed historical and political reasons deriving from the Franco regime, but every team with “Real” in its title was considered a team of the king (and therefore the state [Franco during his dictatorship]). They claim Real bought success, yet Barca pay the highest wages in all of sport, not football, sport (yes, including the lucrative NFL and NBA). They may have developed the talent themselves, but they are paying to keep it. Put it this way, Messi and co are staying at Barca for then just the love. Also, for you anti Madridistas, Barca´s debt is higher than Madrids! Madrid, the anti catalan team was actually founded by a catalan, so you could argue they are also a catalan side!

But I wouldnt care about that (I mean I watch football for the teams, not how well their business is run, I care about goals not accounts), if Barcelona didnt preach a philosophy to the world, claim to the virtue of football, when they really are not. How can you hate Madrid for buying talent, thats what Perez said he would do. How can you hate Jose for being negative tactically, thats what he said he would do. But you I do hate Barca for cheating, I hate them for spending more than they can afford, I hate them exploiting a sad passage in Spanish history, when they claim to be morally above everyone else.
