Welcome Charlie A. A lot of potential shown last year, and now the real hard work starts :)

Ignore the begrudgers on here that speak about players for the club they support as if they have the right to express ridiculous opinions because they're on the internet, when they would not have the bottle to say it in the kop. Especially when you have not kicked a ball for us yet.

I wish you all the best :)

Anyone who expects a single player to be responsible for 'carrying us' to the 'pinnacle' doesn't understand or care to understand the nature of this club, the nature of what Kenny is building, the nature of success being a collective effort by a squad of talented individuals, and shows not just ignorance, but a pathetic amount of impatience, never mind an ignorance of the qualities of this player and how he will fit into our mission.

I think what's most irksome is how some people are so lacking in patience and imagination, the imagination to try and work out exactly what Kenny sees in the players we are trying to sign and actually are signing and how they will serve us. Thats just absolutely lazy.

My favoured formation for next season:

----------Reina--------------------------
-----Agger ----Carragher-------------
----------- Lucas------------------------
Gerrard - Aquilani - Meireles - Adam
Suarez---- Carroll ------------- Kuyt

Subs: Maxi, Spearing, Johnson etc etc

LOL, so Gerrard and Adam as wingbacks? We'd get murdered.

If you can't trust Kenny, you need to find another club, seriously.

We still don't have half a first choice LB and yet, we keep buying central mids, our most loaded position.

While I have confidence in Kenny, Commoli et al that they have this obvious deficiency in mind (winger needed as well), I am getting slightly worried that it's getting on a bit in the transfer market.

Happy to have another signing that improves the squad.

If he takes to Liverpool and kicks on as a player, makes the step up, he could be a gem for us.

Full of optimism for his Liverpool future.

Welcome Charlie boy.

Always good to have another jock in the squad.

The modern fan is becoming more and more Skywashed unfortunately. The concept of 'team' seems to be lost on most. With City, Chelsea and Madrid spending huge money on individual players who are supposed to 'take them to the pinnacle', fans of other clubs accept nothing less than a superstar signing and cannot see the merits of signing players to build a squad, to increase options, to be part of varying formations for different situations. Look at the Mancs, average side on paper but they have a manager who knows how to build a 'team'. They do alright don't they!

Everyone is now trying to think how Kenny is going to use him. I think it will be like under Rafa - we'll never guess the team that will play each game. Brilliant!

I don't recall us using wingers in 87/88 and please don't tell me that John Barnes was a winger for us?
It's all about creativity and pass and move, and we will have that in abundance come the new season.

Good luck Charlie. King Kenny obviously wants you and knows more than I'll ever know so I'll be behind you 100%

Wish people would stop the fuck going on about how many midfielders we now have, its a squad game and players will be picked depending on the formation we're using. We have options and thats never a bad thing.

Konch going the other way doesn't make sense, unless we are giving him a massive parting payout. Blackpool would no doubt pay around a quarter of his current wages at the most.
Would love the 19th more and more trophies; but would love even more to see a fan owned LFC.

Quite happy with this. Think he might surprise a few people, I'm already on the surprised list after last season but then I was going more on how he had played up here a few years ago.

Hopefully it helps the Scotland team too.  :)
