Scared of rushing him, but of course if he's ready then that's great! Starting to get very important for us, and I'm very impressed with this as a new person fighting against three solid cbs.

The French Kompany, beloved by everyone. Just wait.
If you want to win things you need characters like this.  Not so much the player but the thirst for success.

Suarez has it too.  Hope Sakho turns out like that but too early to tell.

These type of players normally drag everyone (willing or otherwise) with them.

marquinhos is on the bench most of the time
alex and thiago silva is the pair

I know yeah but I'd expect marquinhos to take over the reigns soon enough. It's a cracking side they are building.

ZOUMA.

How good is he? Is he still with St Etienne? They've been doing pretty well this season, if he's anything like Football Managers attributes suggest he could be the perfect partner for Sakho :D

Chelsea being linked strongly with him.

I hope we are in with a shout..he'll be a monster of a defender wherever he ends up. Zouma and Sakho as a CB pairing is just..frightening for the opposition.

Not in any training pics, plus the comments today from Rodgers that he is needing to check on his fitness (sounded like avoiding the question a little) - has he had a set back?

Having Welbeck try and mark Pirlo is ridiculous. It's like trying to get a golden retriever to stop a tennis ball machine.Because one is a machine designed for a very specific purpose that it is peerless at, and the other is a fucking dog.

Just play him with agger when he's back. Fuck this two lefties can't play together nonsense. Atleast both of them can actually defend. Thats 8 goals in the last 3 games the other two have played together.

We missed his aerial presence, his physicality and his passing out from the back.

By the way, we're currently missing what is probably our current 1st-choice back 4:

Enrique     Agger     Sakho     Flanagan

                           vs

Cissokho   Toure     Skrtel     Johnson
