The Ringing Bells of Heaven

Keep fighting for your life, help must be on the way.
Please keep going, keep Heaven for now at bay.
Signs of life I can still see, you can hear me I know.
Hang on in there just for me, it's not your time to go.

That's not rain falling, it's my tears that you can feel.
Cheek to cheek I'm with you, as beside you I kneel.
Help surely must be coming, what can be the delay?
God do you realise,I'm running out of prayers to say.

But now I look into your eyes, the fight is over and done.
I battled with God to keep you, but God I fear has won.
The bells of Heaven will be ringing,to a better life you depart.
I will equal God's love for you, with all of my broken heart.

People shouldn't have to go to a game and not come back. That's just not right.

And the list of people that lost their lives shakes me sometimes. Many of them were just kids with blue skies in their eyes.

I hope this is the year that these innocents finally get justice for what is a denigration of the worst kind.

JFT 96.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Always an emotional time. Can only imagine how it makes the families feel. Thoughts with them massively right now. RIP the 96.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing at all affects a family like losing a child.

On the second page of this thread, Harinders post, there are 4 words that jump out at me, Courage, Strength, Heroes and Heroines.

I have absolutely no idea where the Parents, family, loved ones of the 96 killed on this day 26 years ago have found the courage and the strength after not only losing the most precious thing in their world, but having to fight one monumental battle after another, every single day for 26 years.

Heroes and Heroines, yes, yes they are.

PS
There is a 5th word in Harinders post that jumps out at me, "JUSTICE".

It's coming.

I'll never forget the hours of anguish for the woman who lived next door to me, whose son was at Hillsborough, that afternoon. Her son did come home. I can't even imagine the anguish of those whose friends and relatives didn't.

I've really appreciated the list with the photos of all the lads and lasses we lost at the head of the page. More than once today I have sat here looking at them all one at a time instead of going in to a thread. I have thought about what I was doing at each of their ages, as nearly all of them were younger than I am now. So glad that certain people in certain situations have been frank in their admissions, just sorry they did not do that 26 years earlier. Justice for you lovely short lived 96 Boys, Girls, Men & Women.

Suddenly I turned around and she was standin' there
With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair
She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns
"Come in", She said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

I might be in!
